U20 SWITZERLAND - U20 GERMANY 52-91

Germany had another great game in Klatovy. This time they blasted Switzerland 91-52 for perfect 2-0 record at U20 EuroBasket Division B. At the other side, it was the first appearance for Switzerland, who was free in Day One. Germany took control on its rival from the very beginning and never looked back. Quarters: 28-14, 24-16, 14-12, 25-10. Finja Schaake (179-F-92) led her team in scoring with 21 points, while Christina Schnorr (187-F/C-92) helped with 12 points and 9 rebounds. Laura Hebecker (181-F-93) added 11 pts and 6 boards. In Switzerland, Rosalie Grobet (185-F/C-92) had 9 points and Dorothee Studer (169-G-92) added one less. Germany will take a rest on Saturday. Switzerland will play against Greece.

American Guard Jazmine Davis (170-G-93, agency: LBM Management) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for top-ranked Fribourg, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 18. The Regular Season in LNA just ended. The most exciting game of round 18 in the LNA took place in Pully. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 4th ranked Pully (7-9) to third ranked Aarau (10-6) 61-60 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Pully. 23-year old center Jasmine Hines (192-C-93) put on an amazing game in the last round for Bellinzona and receives a Court Side Player of the Week award for round 17. She had a double-double of 22 points and 17 rebounds, while her team beat Winterthur (#5, 7-9) 72-64. Bellinzona maintains the 7th position in Swiss LNA.
