U20 ISRAEL - U20 SWITZERLAND 57-61

Switzerland registered first victory at U20 EuroBasket Division B in Klatovy. They outsmarted Israel 61-57 for 1-3 record at this event. At the same time, Israel fell to 1-4. Israel was up by 8 with ten minutes remaining in the game. However, Melissa Favre (184-PF-92) and her teammates exploded offensively in the last quarter scoring 26 points, while at the other side they limited Israel to just 14. All of that was enough for the victory at the end. Favre top-scored in Switzerland with 13 points and Dana Bozovic (180-SF-93, agency: LBM Management) added 10 points, plus 8 rebounds. Nadege Clement (184-C-93) followed them with 8 points and same numbers of boards. In Israel, Bar Gilinski (185-PF-92) had monster double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds. Nof Kedem (170-SG-94) and Thea Lemberger (175-G-92) (5 rebs) netted 12 and 9 points respectively. Switzerland will meet top ranked Hungary on Wednesday. Israel's next rival is Germany.

Israel: Bar Gilinski 22+10 boards, Nof Kedem 12, Thea Lemberger 9+5 boards
Switzerland: Melissa Favre 13, Dana Bozovic 10+8 boards, Nadege Clement 8+8 boards
