Vacallo Basket travelled to Bormio, Italy for a training camp. They played two friendly games already. The Swiss team surrendered against Spartak Saint Petersburg and Tofas.
SAV Vacallo confidently started the game against Russian Spartak. The Swiss team earned a 16:15 lead after ten minutes. But Spartak used a 19:2 run in the second quarter to gain a 34:18 halftime lead. Vacallo managed to outscore their opponents 13:8 in the fourth frame but could not avoid a 47:62 loss. Ivan Kuburovic (203-F-81) accounted for 10 points for Vacallo. Larry O'Bannon (194-G-83, agency: Interperformances, college: Louisville) posted 8 points in the defeat.
Next Vacallo faced Turkish Tofas. The teams went neck and neck throughout the first half. The scoreboard read 29:29 at the interval. Tofas surged ahead in the third quarter. They accumulated a 46:36 advantage before the fourth frame. But Vacallo managed to deny the deficit and sent the game into overtime. Tofas proved the strength in the extra term and eked out a 72:67 victory. Matt Schneiderman (204-F/C-81, college: N.Iowa) topscored with 18 points for Vacallo. Ivan Kuburovic added 16 points for the Swiss side.

Taylor also played 11 games in Basketball Champions League where he had 4.2ppg and 2.5rpg. The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked BBC Nyon (11-4) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by third ranked Meyrin Basket (10-5) 88-79. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of BBC Nyon. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 88-79.
