It was a very close game until the last quarter, when SAV Vacallo's pressure prevailed and they won that period 25-12 extending their advantage to 16 points. SAV Vacallo forced 19 Fribourg turnovers. The best player for the winners was Serbian forward Ivan Kuburovic (203-81) who scored 22 points and 6 rebounds. American guard Rickey Gibson (191-84, college: Stillman) chipped in 12 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Four SAV Vacallo players scored in double figures. The game was mostly controlled by Lugano Tigers. SAM Massagno was better in third quarter 28-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
