There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in LNA. Coincidentally all hosts won their games.

SAV Vacallo - Fribourg 73-57

It was a very close game until the last quarter, when SAV Vacallo's pressure prevailed and they won that period 25-12 extending their advantage to 16 points. SAV Vacallo forced 19 Fribourg turnovers. The best player for the winners was Serbian forward Ivan Kuburovic (203-81) who scored 22 points and 6 rebounds. American guard Rickey Gibson (191-84, college: Stillman) chipped in 12 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Four SAV Vacallo players scored in double figures. International Jonathan Kazadi (193-91) produced 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and American swingman Edwin Draughan (196-82, college: Yale) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. SAV Vacallo have a solid three-game winning streak.

The game was mostly controlled by Lugano Tigers. SAM Massagno was better in third quarter 28-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Lugano Tigers dominated down low during the game scoring 82 of its points in the paint compared to SAM Massagno's 62. Lugano Tigers had a 29-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American forward Richie Gordon (203-89, college: W.Carolina) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds.
