25-year old Justin Dobbins (203-C/F-87, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) put on an amazing game in the last round for Starwings and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 7.
He had the game-high 31 points adding nine rebounds and two assists for Starwings in his team's victory, helping them to crush SAM Massagno (1-6) with 23-point margin 100-77. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on the top of the standings. Starwings maintains the 10th position in Swiss league. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked at the very bottom. They already lost 6 games and recorded just one victory. Dobbins turned to be Starwings' top player in his first season with the team. Eastern Michigan University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Dobbins is in league's top in points (6th best: 18.8ppg), rebounds (6th best: 8.2rpg) and averages solid 1.2bpg and 60.3% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Jaraun Burrows (203-F-85, agency: Warren Sports International). He is Bahamas forward in his 2nd season at Starwings. In the last game Burrows recorded impressive 25 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course together with Dobbins he helped Starwings with another comfortable win outscoring slightly higher-ranked SAM Massagno (1-6) 100-77. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Starwings is still at the dead bottom 10th position. 6 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Starwings managed to get this year. Burrows is well-known at Starwings and together with Justin Dobbins he already established his position as one of the team's leaders.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Dusan Mladjan (198-SG-86, agency: Interperformances) of Lugano Tigers (#5). Mladjan scored 27 points and passed four assists. Despite Mladjan's great performance Lugano Tigers lost 73-76 to the higher-ranked Geneve Lions (#2, 5-2). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Lugano Tigers needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 4 victories and 3 lost games. Mladjan has a great season in Switzerland. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.9ppg (best scorer). He also has FGP: 70.5% and 3PT: 44.9%. Dusan Mladjan has also Swiss passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Brandon Jenkins (190-G-85) of Starwings - 9 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists
5. Clint Chapman (208-F/C-89) of SAM Massagno - 26 points and 11 rebounds
6. Tony McCrory (199-G/F-77) of Starwings - 26 points and 3 rebounds
7. Feliks Kojadinovic (197-G-79) of Monthey - 11 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists
8. Jamelle Barrett (180-PG-88) of SAM Massagno - 17 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists
9. Darrius Garrett (205-F/C-90) of Fribourg - 7 points and 8 rebounds
10. Ronald Yates (201-F-83) of Fribourg - 20 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
