We bring you last week's top performances from Swiss players who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Greg Brunner
Greg Brunner
#1. This week's number one is an international power forward Greg Brunner (201-83, college: Iowa, currently plays in Italy). He led Trenkwalder RE to a victory against the closely-ranked SAIE3 BO (4-4) 77-68 in the Italian SerieA in Sunday night's game. Brunner scored 14 points, grabbed 5 boards, dished 3 assists and stole 3 balls in 27 minutes on the court. Trenkwalder Reggio Emilia (5-3) is placed sixth in the SerieA. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Brunner's first year with the team. Brunner is currently first on the list of best rebounders with 9.0rpg. He also averaged so far 13.3ppg, 1.9apg, 1.6spg, 2FGP: 54.5% and FT: 66.7% in the eight games he played so far. Brunner is a naturalized American. Despite he played previously for the USA university national team, Brunner is currently a member of the Swiss senior national team. Strangely he has never played in Switzerland.

Thabo Sefolosha

Ramseier was not able to help Boulazac Basket (3-5) in their game against Cholet (5-3) in the French ProA, despite his very good performance on Saturday night. He was the second best scorer with 15 points. Ramseier also added 9 rebounds in 37 minutes. But Boulazac Basket was edged 68-67 on the opponent's court by the much higher-ranked (#5) Cholet. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. It's Ramseier's first year with the team. This season his overall stats are: 7.7ppg, 3.3rpg, 2FGP: 57.9%(11-19) and FT: 14.3% in the three games. Ramseier has a dual citizenship: Swiss and French.
