Here is the weekly review of the top performing Swiss players, who play currently abroad.

Thabo Sefolosha
Thabo Sefolosha
#1. This week's number one is an international guard Thabo Sefolosha (199-84, agency: ACMT, currently plays in NBA). He was the major contributor in an Oklahoma City Thunder's victory against the Charlotte Bobcats (7-8) crushing them 114-69 in the NBA in Monday night's game. Sefolosha scored 14 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 21 minutes on the court. The Oklahoma City Thunder has quite an impressive 14-4 record this season. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Sefolosha has relatively good stats this year: 7.1ppg, 4.4rpg, 1.9apg, 2FGP: 52.3%, 3FGP: 45.1%(23-51) and FT: 86.7% in the 18 games he played so far. He played for the Swiss senior national team one years ago.

Greg Brunner
Greg Brunner
#2. Second place goes to an international power forward Greg Brunner (201-83, college: Iowa, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian SerieA. Brunner could not help Trenkwalder RE (5-4) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his good performance Trenkwalder RE was defeated 91-78 on the road by the leading Cimberio Varese. Brunner recorded a double-double by scoring 11 points and getting 12 rebounds. He also added 3 blocks. But the season just started, so everything may happen. Brunner is the league's best rebounder. He has very reliable stats this season: 13.0ppg, 9.3rpg, 1.9apg, 1.4spg, 2FGP: 52.9% and FT: 67.9%. Brunner is a naturalized American. Despite he played previously for the USA university national team, Brunner is currently a member of the Swiss senior national team. Strangely he has never played in Switzerland.

David Ramseier
David Ramseier
#3. The Swiss player who performed third best last week abroad was an international power forward David Ramseier (203-87, currently plays in France). Ramseier was not able to help Boulazac Basket (3-6) in their game against Cholet (5-4) in the French ProA, despite his very good performance on Saturday night. He was the second best scorer with 15 points. Ramseier also added 9 rebounds in 37 minutes. But Boulazac Basket was edged 68-67 on the opponent's court by the much higher-ranked (#6) Cholet. It was Boulazac Basket's third consecutive loss in a row. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. It's Ramseier's first year with the team. This season he averages: 6.3ppg, 3.3rpg, 2FGP: 52.2% and FT: 14.3% in the four games. Ramseier has a dual citizenship: Swiss and French. Ex-Chorale de Roanne Basket (ProA) U20 team -Geneva Devils player is also a member of the Swiss senior national team.

Clint N'Dumba-Capela
Clint N'Dumba-Capela
#4. Forward Clint N'Dumba-Capela (204-94, currently plays in Euroleague) was not able to secure a victory for Chalon/Saor (2-6) in their game against Maccabi T-A (6-2) in the Euroleague. He scored only 4 points. The fifth-placed Chalon/Saor was defeated 78-73 in Tel-Aviv by the leading Maccabi T-A in the group B of Euroleague. There are only two games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. N'Dumba-Capela's overall stats this season are: 1.0ppg and 1.8rpg. He used to play for the Swiss U18 national team last year.

Stefan Petkovic
Stefan Petkovic
#5. International point guard Stefan Petkovic (185-92, currently plays in VTB United League) couldn't help the league outsider Tsmoki-Minsk (0-7) in their game against VEF Riga (5-2) in the VTB United League. Petkovic did not have that impressive stats last Saturday. He recorded only 3 points in 4 minutes on the court. Tsmoki-Minsk (#10) was crushed 98-73 in Riga by the second-ranked VEF Riga in the group B of VTB United League. So far Tsmoki-Minsk lost all seven games in the Regular Season. This year Petkovic's overall stats are: 2.0ppg and 1.4apg in the five games. He is another player who holds two passports: Serbian and Swiss. Petkovic plays currently for the Swiss national team.
