Starwings is placed at 4th position in Swiss LNA. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Starwings will need more victories to improve their 5-2 record. In the team's last game Jones had a remarkable 68.8% from 2-point range. He turned to be Starwings' top player in his first season with the team. Angelo State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Jones is in league's top in points (6th best: 18.0ppg), assists (4th best: 4.9apg) and averages solid 2.4spg and 55.4% FGP.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was -year old American forward Sean Sheldon (209-F) of Winterthur. Sheldon impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 23 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as Winterthur lost that game 67-72 to the higher-ranked Swiss Central (#5, 5-2). Winterthur are still at the very bottom. 7 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Sheldon is a newcomer at Winterthur and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.
The third best performed player last round was American Chris Braswell (206-F-89) of Geneve Lions (#3). Braswell scored 26 points and grabbed eighteen rebounds (!!!). Despite Braswell's great performance Geneve Lions lost 80-83 to the lower-ranked Neuchatel (#7, 3-4). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Geneve Lions needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 5 victories and 2 lost games. Braswell has a great season in Switzerland. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.3rpg (6th best).
