Here is the weekly review of the top performing Swiss players, who play currently abroad.

Thabo Sefolosha
Thabo Sefolosha
#1. This week's number one is an international guard Thabo Sefolosha (199-84, agency: ACMT, currently plays in NBA). He led Oklahoma City Thunder to a victory against the Brooklyn Nets (11-7) 117-111 in the NBA in Tuesday night's game. Sefolosha scored 14 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 37 minutes on the court. The Oklahoma City Thunder has a very good 16-4 record this season. It was his team's seventh consecutive victory in a row. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Sefolosha has relatively good stats this year: 7.4ppg, 4.5rpg, 1.9apg, 2FGP: 53.8%, 3FGP: 47.3%(26-55) and FT: 86.7% in the 20 games he played so far. He played for the Swiss senior national team one years ago.

Greg Brunner
Greg Brunner
#2. Second place goes to an international power forward Greg Brunner (201-83, college: Iowa, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian SerieA. Brunner could not help Trenkwalder RE (5-5) to beat Enel Brindisi (5-5). He recorded 9 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. But Trenkwalder RE was edged 78-75 at home by the lower-ranked Enel Brindisi (#9). But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Brunner's first year with the team. Brunner is ranked first on the list of the best rebounders in the league. He has very reliable stats this season: 12.6ppg, 9.1rpg, 1.8apg, 1.6spg, 2FGP: 52.6% and FT: 64.5%. Brunner is a naturalized American. Despite he played previously for the USA university national team, Brunner is currently a member of the Swiss senior national team. Strangely he has never played in Switzerland.

Clint N'Dumba-Capela
Clint N'Dumba-Capela
#3. The Swiss player who performed third best last week abroad was U18 international forward Clint N'Dumba-Capela (204-94, currently plays in France). N'Dumba-Capela managed to help ES Chalon-Sur-Saone in a victory against the closely-ranked Paris-Levallois (6-4) 91-79 in the French ProA on Sunday night. He scored 5 points in 4 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. ES Chalon-Sur-Saone (7-2) is placed first in the ProA. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. This year N'Dumba-Capela averages: 1.7ppg, 2FGP: 66.7% and FT: 25.0% in the three games. He played for the Swiss U18 national team one years ago.

David Ramseier
David Ramseier
#4. Power forward David Ramseier (203-87, currently plays in France) contributed to a Boulazac Basket's surprising victory against the second-ranked Le Mans (7-3) 67-61 in the French ProA in Saturday night's game. Ramseier recorded 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Boulazac Basket Dordogne (4-6) is placed 14th in the ProA. They ended the series of three consecutive loses. But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go. It's Ramseier's first season with the team. His overall stats this year are: 6.2ppg and 3.4rpg. Ramseier has a dual citizenship: Swiss and French. He is also Swiss national team player.

Stefan Petkovic
Stefan Petkovic
#5. International point guard Stefan Petkovic (185-92, currently plays in VTB United League) was not able to help the league outsider Tsmoki-Minsk (0-7) in their game against VEF Riga (5-2) in the VTB United League. Petkovic did not have that impressive stats last Saturday. He recorded only 3 points in 4 minutes on the court. The tenth-placed Tsmoki-Minsk was crushed 98-73 on the road by the higher-ranked (#4) VEF Riga in the group B of VTB United League. So far Tsmoki-Minsk lost all seven games in the Regular Season. This year Petkovic's overall stats are: 2.0ppg and 1.4apg in the five games. He is another player who holds two passports: Serbian and Swiss. Petkovic plays currently for the Swiss national team.

Christophe Varidel
Christophe Varidel

He scored 6 points. The Florida Gulf Coast University has conference record this season. Varidel's total stats this year are: 2.0ppg and 1.4apg.
