Muraltese signs Lauren Thomas-Johnson, ex Sheffield Hatters - Dec 16, 2012

Fizzy Muraltese (LNA) signed 24-year old British international guard Lauren Thomas-Johnson (178-88, college: Marquette). She played last season at Sheffield Hatters in British EBL league. In two games last year she had 10.0ppg, 3.0rpg, 2.0spg and 1.0bpg. Part of previous (2010-11) season Thomas-Johnson spent at Gran Canaria in Spanish LFB. In 7 games that season she recorded just 2.7ppg. She also played at Haukar in Icelandic Dominos League that season. In two games that year she recorded 6.5ppg, 3.5rpg and 1.0bpg. Thomas-Johnson won English EBL championship title and the cup.
She has been also a member of British international program for some years. Thomas-Johnson has has regularly played for Senior National Team since 2010 and for U22 National Team last year. She represented United Kingdom at the European Championships in Poland last year. Her stats at that event were 3 games: 0.7ppg, 1.0rpg.
She attended Marquette University until 2010 and it will be her third season as a professional player.

29-year old power forward Marielle Giroud (182-F/C-87) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Helios and receives a Player of the Week award for round 8. The game in Geneve supposed to be quite interesting. Second ranked Helios (6-2) played at the court of 5th ranked Geneve Basket (3-4). Helios smashed Geneve Basket 85-41 on Sunday. The game without a history. Helios led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Geneve Basket inks Carole Leclair, ex Aulnoye - 7 days ago

Geneve Basket Elite (LNA) agreed terms with 27-year old French forward Carole Leclair (185-89). She has played for the last two seasons at Aulnoye AS in French LF2 league. In three games she had 11.0ppg, 4.0rpg, 2.3apg and 1.0spg last season. Leclair's team made it to the LF2 Semifinals in 2011 and 2016.
