Arizona Reid
26-year old forward Arizona Reid (196-F-86) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Fribourg and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 16.
He had a double-double of 32 points and 15 rebounds, while his team beat Boncourt (#7, 6-10) 84-75. It allowed Fribourg to consolidate first place in the Swiss league. Fribourg have a solid 14-2 record. In the team's last game Reid had a remarkable 65.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Fribourg's top player in his first season with the team. High Point University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Reid is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 8.0rpg).

Second best performed player last round was Justin Dobbins (203-C/F-87, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) of Starwings. He is American in his first season at Starwings. In the last game Dobbins recorded impressive double-double of 22 points and 11 rebounds. Of course Starwings cruised to a 83-74 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked SAM Massagno (#10, 3-13). This victory allowed Starwings to leave bottom place moving a little bit up to 8th position in the standings. 12 lost games are too many comparing to just four victories Starwings managed to get this year. Dobbins is a newcomer at Starwings and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.9ppg (#9). He also registered 7.3 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Jules Aw (200-F-86) of Neuchatel (#6). Aw scored 17 points and grabbed fourteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Neuchatel, leading his team to a 77-75 win against the lower-ranked BBC Nyon (#9, 3-13). Neuchatel needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 8 victories and 8 lost games. Aw has a great season in Switzerland. After 13 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.4rpg (7th best). Jules Aw has also Swiss passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Brandon Jenkins (190-G-85) of Starwings - 17 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists
5. Larry O'Bannon (194-G-83) of SAV Vacallo - 22 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists
6. Jamelle Barrett (180-PG-88) of SAM Massagno - 23 points and 10 assists
7. Justin Rutty (200-F-89) of BBC Nyon - 23 points and 11 rebounds

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
