Celeste
Trahan-Davis
American Celeste Trahan-Davis (184-C-85, agency: LBM Management) had an amazing evening in the last round for Fribourg and that's her to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 16.
The 27-year old center had a double-double of 26 points and eighteen rebounds, while her team outclassed Hope-GBA (#5, 10-6) with 30-point margin 83-53. Fribourg is placed at 4th position in Swiss LNA. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Fribourg will need more victories to improve their 11-5 record. Trahan-Davis turned to be Fribourg's top player in her first season with the team. Celeste Trahan-Davis averages just after three games 27.3ppg and 19.7rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 30-year old international forward Alexia Rol (175-F-82) of league's best team Helios. Rol impressed basketball fans with 25 points and 9 rebounds. Of course she lead Helios to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Bellinzona (#9, 2-14) 86-58. Of course Helios still keep the league's top spot. She plays for the best team in the league and Helios managed to win all 16 games keeping perfect record. Rol is a newcomer at Helios and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American Cameo Hicks (182-G/F-84) of second-ranked Riva Basket. Hicks got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. She was a key player of Riva Basket, leading her team to a 71-55 easy win against the lower-ranked Basel (#8, 4-12). Riva Basket needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 12 victories and 4 lost games. Hicks has a great season in Switzerland. After 16 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 29.4ppg (best scorer) and assists with 3.4apg (6th best). She also has 4.0spg and FGP: 56.9%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Kirby Copeland (182-G-85) of Fribourg - 21 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists
5. Melissa Favre (184-PF-92) of Pully - 20 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Jamila Studer-Griffith (183-G/F-82) of Ovronnaz-Mart. - 20 points, 12 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Candice Bellocchio (167-G-89) of Muraltese - 20 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists
8. Lavinia Santucci (186-F-85) of Riva Basket - 17 points and 6 rebounds
9. Kaitlin Sowinski (196-C-86) of Muraltese - 15 points, 14 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Chelsea Snyder (198-C-90) of Highflyers - 13 points and 17 rebounds

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
