Latara
Darrett
American guard Latara Darrett (178-G-88, agency: Two Points) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Bellinzona, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 18.
The 24-year old player had a double-double of 32 points and 18 rebounds, while her team edged out Pully (#7, 7-11) 64-60. Bellinzona maintains the 9th position in Swiss LNA. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 15 games and recorded just three victories. Darrett just recently signed at Bellinzona, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Latara Darrett averages just after three games 23.7ppg and 12.0rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was 27-year old American Celeste Trahan-Davis (184-C-85, agency: LBM Management) of Fribourg. Trahan-Davis had a very good evening with a double-double of 29 points and 12 rebounds. Of course she lead Fribourg to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Ovronnaz-Mart. (#4, 11-7) 80-56. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Fribourg consolidated its place in top 3 of the standings. Her team's 13-5 record is not bad at all. Trahan-Davis is a newcomer at Fribourg, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Hungarian center Andrea Hajdune Csaszar (200-C-82, agency: Josep and Nicolas) of league's top team Helios. Hajdune Csaszar showcased her all-around game by recording 12 points, thirteen rebounds (!!!) and seven assists in the last round. She was a key player of Helios, leading her team to a 83-44 easy win against the lower-ranked Hope-GBA (#5, 11-7). Helios have amazing season winning all 18 games without a single defeat. Hajdune Csaszar turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Hajdune Csaszar has a very solid season. In 11 games in Switzerland she scored 8.6ppg. She also has 8.7rpg and 1.8bpg.

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
