25-year old forward Korvotney Barber (201-F-87, agency: Pro One Sports) put on an amazing game in the last round for Lugano Tigers and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 22.
He had a double-double of 25 points and 13 rebounds, while his team crushed Neuchatel (#5, 11-11) with 19-point margin 105-86. Lugano Tigers maintains the 3rd position in Swiss league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Lugano Tigers will need more victories to improve their 13-9 record. Barber turned to be Lugano Tigers' top player in his first season with the team. Auburn University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Barber is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 9.3rpg) and averages solid 54.7% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Brandon Jenkins (190-G-85) of Starwings. He is American guard in his second season at Starwings. In the last game Jenkins recorded impressive double-double of 15 points and 10 assists. Of course he lead Starwings to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked SAM Massagno (#9, 4-18) 94-55. Starwings' 7th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 7-15 record. Jenkins is well-known at Starwings and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders.

Third place about best performers goes to another Lugano Tigers' star - guard Branko Milisavljevic (193-G-76, agency: Beo Basket). Milisavljevic scored 19 points and passed eight assists. He was another key player of Lugano Tigers, helping his team with a 105-86 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Neuchatel (#5, 11-11). Lugano Tigers needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 13 victories and 9 lost games. Milisavljevic has a very solid season. In 10 games in Switzerland he scored 17.3ppg. He also has 6.0apg and FGP: 55.4%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Kelvin Parker (183-PG-82) of Geneve Lions - 16 points, 2 rebounds and 11 assists
5. Jaraun Burrows (203-F-85) of Starwings - 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Justin Dobbins (203-C/F-87) of Starwings - 17 points and 10 rebounds
7. Richie Gordon (203-F-89) of Lugano Tigers - 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists
8. Babacar Toure (205-F/C-85) of Geneve Lions - 16 points and 10 rebounds
9. Dusan Mladjan (198-SG-86) of Lugano Tigers - 29 points and 3 assists
10. Oliver Vogt (209-C-80) of Geneve Lions - 22 points and 7 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
