The teams have now bigger motivation at this stage of Regular Season. Every game can be crucial and decide about teams' position at the end of Regular Season.

There was a change at the LNA leadership position after last games. Round 23 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Fribourg (18-5). They were edged by sixth ranked Boncourt (8-14) 81-79 on Sunday night. The hosts trailed by 18 points after first quarter, but they rallied back winning next two quarters and won the game by 2 points. It was a great evening for American guard Jackson Capel (191-87, college: Evangel) who led his team to a victory scoring 31 points and 4 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). His fellow American import swingman Shy Ely (194-87, college: Evansville, agency: Merit Sports) helped adding 22 points and 7 rebounds. American-Jamaican forward Ronald Yates (201-83, college: St.Peter's) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Boncourt maintains sixth place with 8-14 record. Fribourg at the other side dropped to the second position with five games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Geneve Lions. Fribourg will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest and make it back to the top of the standings. Boncourt will try to continue on its current victory against ninth ranked SAM Massagno at home.
