Hello everyone, my name is Jesse Smith (211-F/C-82, college: Idaho St.). I recently had the opportunity to write my own blog for the biggest basketball database in the world, so here we go. I just want to start this off with the basics. Ive been playing professional basketball for five years. When I look back at it now it has been a long road in life and in basketball. Ive done a lot of stuff and had a lot of life experiences, good and bad. Ive played in Portugal, Germany, the D-league, Finland, and most recent Switzerland. All of which has had their ups and downs. Each team Ive been with has had there own uniqueness for sure. Ill get in deeper with that detail at a later date. Im happy to have this opportunity to express my thoughts and to share my stories and experiences with others. Most of which will be good and some others may ruffle some feathers but either way it should be one hell of a ride. My season has just ended in Switzerland so Im in between things at the moment but Ill be coming back soon with an experience of my first year being a professional basketball player in Europe.
