The biggest surprise took place in Nyon where host BBC Nyon (10-3) crushed league's leader Vevey (10-3) 92-59 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Vevey. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game without a history. BBC Nyon led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. BBC Nyon have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with defeated Vevey. There is only one round left in the Regular Season. And it will be most important game for Vevey this season. They will face strong Meyrin Basket trying to make it back to the top of the standings. BBC Nyon will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Villars on the road.
Bottom-ranked Lug.Tigers U23 (0-13) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 83-59 loss to fifth ranked Pully (8-5) in Lugano. Pully moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Villars. Lug.Tigers U23 lost their thirteenth game in a row. They still close the standings with 13 games lost. Pully will play against GC Zurich (#6) at home in the next round. Lug.Tigers U23 will play against Academie Fribourg and hopes to get finally their first victory.

Villars moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Pully. Academie Fribourg lost their third game in a row. They keep the seventh position with ten games lost. Villars will meet at home league's leader BBC Nyon in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Academie Fribourg will play against Lug.Tigers U23 (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 13 GC Zurich was crushed by Meyrin Basket in Geneve 77-49.

Meyrin Basket - GC Zurich 77-49

There was no surprise in Geneve where 6th ranked GC Zurich (4-9) was crushed by third ranked Meyrin Basket (9-4) 77-49 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Meyrin Basket. GC Zurich managed to win fourth quarter 16-7. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The victory was the third consecutive win for Meyrin Basket. They maintain third place with 9-4 record behind leader BBC Nyon. GC Zurich lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the sixth position with nine games lost. Meyrin Basket will meet league's second-placed Vevey on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. GC Zurich will play against Pully (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

BBC Monthey (LNA) signed 33-year old Nigerian ex-international guard Michael Efevberha (193-89kg-84, college: CS Northridge). He just played at Sagesse in Lebanese Pepsi LBL. In 15 games he had very impressive stats: 23.5ppg, 7.1rpg, 4.9apg and 1.5spg this season. Efevberha also played earlier that season for LG Sakers in South Korean KBL where in 14 Pepsi LBL games he recorded 14.9ppg, 3.6rpg and 2.1apg.
