An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Vevey. First ranked Vevey faced 4th ranked Pully. Host Vevey (13-3) defeated guests from Pully (10-6) 76-68. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Pully. Pully trailed by 15 points after 3 quarters before a 21-14 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 68-76 at the end of the game. Vevey have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 13-3 record. Pully at the other side keeps the fourth place with six games lost. Vevey are looking forward to face league's second-placed BBC Nyon on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Pully will play against Villars and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Bottom-ranked Lug.Tigers U23 (0-16) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 85-71 loss to second ranked BBC Nyon (12-4) in Lugano. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. BBC Nyon maintains second position with 12-4 record behind leader Vevey. Lug.Tigers U23 at the other side still closes the standings. BBC Nyon will play against league's leader Vevey at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Lug.Tigers U23 will play against Meyrin Basket (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.

Academie Fribourg will play against GC Zurich and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 16 GC Zurich was defeated by Meyrin Basket in Geneve 65-48.

Lug.Tigers U23 - BBC Nyon 71-85

Bottom-ranked Lug.Tigers U23 (0-16) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 85-71 loss to second ranked BBC Nyon (12-4) in Lugano. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. It looked good early as Lug.Tigers U23 took a 2-point small lead at the end of first quarter. Then BBC Nyon had a 19-16 second period charge getting the lead and Lug.Tigers U23 was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 71-85. BBC Nyon maintains second position with 12-4 record behind leader Vevey. Lug.Tigers U23 at the other side still closes the standings. BBC Nyon will play against league's leader Vevey at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Lug.Tigers U23 will play against Meyrin Basket (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.

Villars - Acad.Fribourg 89-56

The game with biggest result difference took place in Villars. Local Villars (9-6) outscored 6th ranked Academie Fribourg (5-12) 89-56 on Saturday night. The game without a history. Villars led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Villars maintains fifth position with 9-6 record. Meyrin Basket - GC Zurich 65-48

There was no surprise in Geneve where 7th ranked GC Zurich (4-12) was defeated by third ranked Meyrin Basket (11-5) 65-48 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 17 points. Meyrin Basket dominated on the defensive end, holding GC Zurich to just 5 points in third quarter. Meyrin Basket maintains third position with 11-5 record having just two points less than leader Vevey. GC Zurich lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 12 games lost. Meyrin Basket will meet bottom-ranked Lug.Tigers U23 (#8) in the next round where they are favorite. GC Zurich will play against Academie Fribourg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
