The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute surprises and upsets. The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with loss of the undefeated team and favorites losing the games.

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Monthey (13-3) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by sixth ranked Lugano Tigers (10-7) 74-70. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Monthey. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. American players dominated the game. It was a good game for guard Tristan Carey (193-91, college: Longwood) who led his team to a victory with 33 points (!!!). Guard Terrell Everett (193-84, college: Oklahoma, agency: Diamond Sports) contributed with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Guard Brandon Young (193-91, college: De Paul) replied with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for Monthey. Lugano Tigers moved-up to fifth place. Monthey at the other side dropped to the second position with three games lost. Lugano Tigers are looking forward to face Starwings (#6) in Basel in the next round. Monthey will play at home against Boncourt (#8) and is hoping to win this game.
An interesting game for Fribourg (14-3) which played road game in Neuchatel against 3rd ranked Neuchatel (10-6). Second ranked Fribourg had an easy win 89-74. Neuchatel will play on the road against Geneve Lions and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An interesting game for Monthey (13-3) which hosted in Monthey one of their biggest challengers Geneve Lions (10-6). First ranked Monthey managed to get a 11-point victory 90-79.
