Evrard Atcho
LNB newcomer Morges-Saint-Prex BBC strengthened their roster with addition of 25-year old ex-international center Evrard Atcho (208-92, college: Kansas City CC). He played most recently at BC Boncourt Red Team (LNA). LNA was a little too high level for him, where in 25 games he recorded just 1.4ppg and 1.8rpg in 2015-16 season. LNB will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. Atcho helped them to make it to the Swiss Cup Semifinals.
The previous (14-15) season he played at 5 STELLE SAM Basket Massagno (also in LNA). In 17 games he averaged 3.9ppg and 3.5rpg.
Atcho won Swiss LNB championship title in 2011.
He was also a member of Swiss international program for some years. Atcho played for Swiss Senior National Team between 2013 and 2014 and previously for U20 National Team back in 2012.
He represented Switzerland at the Qualifications to European Championships 2015 three years ago. His stats at that event were 2 games: 6.0ppg, 2.5rpg.
Atcho has played previously for four other teams: Neuchatel, Fribourg, Pully and Academie Fribourg.
He attended Kansas City Kansas Community College until 2013 and it will be his fifth season as a professional player.

SBL Round 3: Winterthur outgun Pully - 2 days ago

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Pully (1-1) on the court of Winterthur on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by Winterthur 80-77. It was a good game for American forward Alex Welsh (200-94, college: Colorado Springs) who led his team to a victory with 35 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds. His fellow Ameri...   [read more]
