BBC Monthey (LNA) signed 28-year old American forward Terrance Henry (206-95kg-89, college: Mississippi, agency: Inception Sports). He played last season at Kangoeroes in Belgian Euromillions League. In 38 games he had 11.7ppg, 5.4rpg and 1.2apg.
The most of previous (2015-16) season Henry spent at Lugano Tigers where in 12 LNA games he recorded 15.0ppg, 7.1rpg, 1.9apg and 1.1bpg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Henry also played that season for Etha in Cypriot Division A. In 9 games he averaged 14.4ppg, 8.7rpg, 3.4apg, 2.0spg and 1.4bpg. He contributed to his team making it to the Cypriot Cup Semifinals. A very impressive season as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Cyprus League Honorable Mention and to the All-Star Game. Henry also played 6 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he got 13.8ppg, 9.7rpg, 2.2apg and 1.7bpg.
In 2013 (a year after he left the college) Henry was drafted by Maine Red Claws (D-League) in first round (10th overall).
He attended University of Mississippi until 2012 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball.
Henry has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2012.
He has played previously professionally in France (Nantes and ADA Blois) and NBA G League (Fort Wayne Mad Ants).

23-year old forward Alex Welsh (200-F-94) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Winterthur and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 3. There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in NLB. The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of BBC Nyon (1-1) on the court of Villars on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Villars 82-77. The hosts trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 82-77. There were just three rounds played in Regular Season of SBL and we can clearly see which teams will fight for top positions and which will try to avoid bottom places. The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Pully (1-1) on the court of Winterthur on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by Winterthur 80-77.
