Tomcho
Sokolov
LNB newcomer Morges-Saint-Prex BBC added to their roster 33-year old FYR Macedonian-Bulgarian power forward Tomcho Sokolov (205-105kg-84). He played most recently at KK Strumica in FYR Macedonian Prva Liga. In 13 games he recorded 10.0ppg and 4.8rpg in 2015-16 season. Sokolov also played that season for Kozuv (also in Prva Liga) where in 11 games he averaged 3.0ppg and 3.4rpg. He also played 6 games in Balkan League where he had just 2.7ppg and 2.2rpg.
Sokolov is quite experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Africa and of course North America) in ten different countries. Sokolov has played previously professionally also in Bosnia (Celik), Croatia, Portugal, Russia (Magnitka-University Magnitogorsk), Slovakia (SKP Banska Bystrica and Nova Ves), Slovenia (Maribor), Tunisia (JS Kairouan), Turkey (Pi Koleji) and Romania (CS Dinamo Bucuresti and Steaua CSM EximBank Bucuresti).
The scouts decsribe him following way: Tomcho is an excellent post player who can play both inside positions. He has nice physical strength for his size and position. He can play with his back-to-the basket in offense and has a good well-rounded skillset. Has a good feeling for the basket. Tomcho is an excellent shooter as well who can hit from all ranges including having great % from behind the 3-point line. He also has a nice jump which makes him very effective on offense. He rebounds very well and plays strong and aggressively towards the basket. He also has a nice hook shot from both sides that he utilizes well. On defense Tomcho likes to be aggressive and to use his body to gain advantages. He is a tall player who can also effectively defend smaller players. He is a strong defender who does not shy away from physical contact. Also off the court he is a great guy with a very positive attitude and easy to coach.

Morges-Saint-Prex BBC roster for 2017-2018:
