90:79 Fenerbahce successfully defended their TBL title beating Turk Telecom in Game 5
of the finals and completing a 4-1 win in the series. The hosts arrived to
Istanbul having stolen a narrow in the fourth game and leading 3 games to 1.
Turk Telecom had their backs against the wall in this one but could not come up
with heroics at hostile territory. Fenerbahce were driven by a supportive crowd
and got aggressive right from the start.

All Star 2008
Beko All Star 2008 Match has been played today , March 22 , 2008
in Abdi Ipekci Arena. It was a great organization there.The most
important event was the All Star Match , but there were also 3 point
shoutout challenge and Powerade Dunk challenge. There were also
several activities , such as the concert of turkish pop singer Yalin
and Chigaco Bulls Girls. The activities started with 3 point
shoutout challenge , then Powerade Dunk challenge and in the end was
the All Star Match.
All Star Match
The All Star Match has been played between turkish and foreign
players which play in the TBL. LIke all another All Star Matches
which have been played , the foreign team won again. But this year
was different then others because the turkish team was leading all
the time until the foreign team made a 15-2 serie and change the
score from 100-91 to 102-106 to win the match.It was a good chance
for the turkish team to bring the first All Star Match victory, but
the foreigns stop them again. The MVP of the match was scoring and
rebound leader of the league,

match have now been chosen. The match will be played on the 22nd of

TurkTelekom wins Turkish Opel Cup 2008 !!!
Turk
Telekom got the Cup in Turkey and became so called
Turkish Opel Cup champion. In the Final game against
Oyak Renault the favorites triumphed with 80:61 victory.

also earned MVP honors being the top-scorer for the
team. Chris Williams posted 16 points and made 7
rebounds while

for Oyak,
Ozgur Biyik (208-C-83) added 12 and
Nedim Dal (212-C-75) 11. To reach the Final Turk
Telekom beat Banvit 91:82 and then overcame Fenerbahce
Ulker 73:72 in the semifinals.
Fenerbahce Ulker Lifted President's Cup Trophy
The defending champions
Fenerbahce Ulker and Turkish Cup winners Efes Pilsen came face to face in
Ankara for the President's Cup and
Will Solomon (187-G-78, college:

game winning shot led Fenerbahce Ulker to 79-77 a victory in a breathtaking
final.
Ibrahim Kutluay (198-F/G-74)'s clutch game created a double digit
deficit for Fenerbahce Ulker twice as Efes Pilsen failed to defend the
perimeter. Towards the last quarter the beermen toughened up defensively and
