Galatasaray outplayed Fenerbahce Ulker in TBL derby remaining the second ranked team with 11-2 record. Big guy Huseyin Beson was a key player for the hosts with 23 points and 11 rebounds. Antonio Graves helped with 15 pts. Slovenian prospect Emir Preldzic shined on the other side netting 25 points and grabbing 5 rebounds (6/8 for 3-pts). Preldzic was the only one with double-digits in scoring for Fener, who fell on 9-4.

TED Koleji - Mersin 77-85 Mersin cruised past the last ranked Mersin joining Aliaga and Karsiyaka with 7-6 record. Christopher Lofton top-scored for the winners with 23 points. LaQuan Prowell had double-double for the hosts, 15 points and 11 rebounds. TED Koleji 1-12.
Efes Pilsen - Kepez Bld 86-57 Efes Pilsen had an easy job against Kepez Bld remaining on top of TBL with 12-1 record. Kerem Gonlum came up with 18 points and 7 rebounds, while Michail Kakiouzis and Preston Shumpert added 13 points apiece in win. Torrell Martin collected 15 points and 5 rebounds in Kepez (2-11).
Erdemir - Besiktas 82-68 Erdemir surprised Besiktas 82-68 improving on 3-10 score. On the other side the team from Istanbul dropped on 6-7. Erdal Bibo netted 17 points, while James Thomas also shined for the hosts collecting 14 points and 18 rebounds. Mehmet Yagmur delivered 18 pts for Besiktas (6-7).
Banvit - T.Telekom 95-89 Banvit managed to crush Turk Telekom, thus both teams currently have 8 wins and 5 defeats. Darlon Johnson and big guy Lance Williams combined 40 points and 14 rebounds in this victory. Serkan Erdogan scored 25 points for Turk Telekom.
Antalya - Darussafaka 83-69 Antalya was too strong for Darussafaka improving its score on 8-5 (same as Turk Telekom and Banvit). Marcus Douthit stepped up for the winners with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Ralph Mims followed with 16 pts and 6 boards. Soner Senturk and Melih Mahmutoglu contributed with 15 points apiece in loss. Darussafaka 5-8.
Karsiyaka - Oyak Renault 71-61 Leon Williams (203-F/C-86, agency: Elfus-Siegel Management (ESM), college: Ohio), who nailed 23 points and pulled down impressive 22 rebounds (12 off), paced his Karsiyaka to home win against Oyak Renault. Hakan Koseoglu added 22 points and 9 assists. Visitors got 18 points from Alex Gordon. Karsiyaka 7-6, Oyak Renault 5-8.
Selcuk Uni. - Aliaga 83-82 Selcuk grabbed it against Aliaga mostly owing to Ekenechukwu Ibekwe, who delivered 26 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for 33 minutes. Mehmet Kacar also was on high level collecting 26 points and 11 boards. Reha Oz replied with 27 pts in defeat. Selcuk 5-8, Aliaga 7-6.

Banvit Basketbol Kulubu agreed terms with 25-year old American guard Jason Forte (196-G-84, college: S.Mississippi). Forte played most recently at Brose Baskets Bamberg (Germany) as a replacement for injured player. But he left in October. It's actually his first year overseas as previous two seasons he played in CBA in the States, where in 2007 he won championships. However in his first game in Turkish league he played just for 2 minutes getting 1 steal and one rebound.

Bosnian power forward Edin Bavcic (210-F/C-84, agency: Beo Basket) is a new member of German Koln 99ers. 24-year old player started the season in Turkish Kepez Bld from Antalya. He appeared 11 times in TBL averaging 8.5 ppg and 4 rpg. Bavcic's best game in Kepez's jersey was on November 23rd against Banvit, when he nailed 23 points. Before Kepez, he spent couple of seasons in Bosna ASA BH Telecom. In 07/08 he played 12 games in ULEB Cup with average digits 9.

Before Kepez, he spent couple of seasons in Bosna ASA BH Telecom. In 07/08 he played 12 games in ULEB Cup with average digits 9.2 ppg, 4.3 rpg and 1.3 apg. In 2006 and 2007 Bavcic was named 'Eurobasket.com All-Bosnia and Herzegovina League Forward of the Year'. His Bosna ASA BHT managed to grab two championship titles and one National Cup in Bosnia. Bavcic was a member of Bosnian National Team few years. This past summer they didn't succeed to get through the qualifications for EuroBasket 2009 in Poland. It is important to mention that on 2006 NBA Draft Bavcic was selected by Toronto Raptors as 56th overall pick. He participated on two Vegas Summer Leagues after that, but didn't succeed to get a contract. In Koln 99ers he will take a spot of Yassin Idbihi (208-F-83, college: Buffalo) and Guido Grunheid (209-F/C-82, agency: Court Side). Both players left the club in the last couple of weeks.
