Bojan
Bogdanovic
Bosnia and Herzegovina-Croatian Bojan Bogdanovic (203-G/F-89) had an amazing evening in the last round for Fener.Ulker and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 13.
The 22-year old swingman had the game-high 30 points adding seven rebounds and three assists for Fener.Ulker in his team's victory, helping them to crush Hacettepe Univ. (#11, 5-8) with 21-point margin 79-58. Fener.Ulker is placed at 3rd position in Turkish TBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Fener.Ulker will need more victories to improve their 10-3 record. In the team's last game Bogdanovic had a remarkable 85.7% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 6 attempts. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Bojan Bogdanovic averages this season 10.6ppg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 33-year old American guard Mire Chatman (187-G-78, agency: Higher Vision Sports) of Karsiyaka. Chatman impressed basketball fans with 28 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. It was enough for Karsiyaka to edge the lower-ranked Antalya (#14, 2-11) by 5 points 94-89. This victory allowed Karsiyaka to move up to 6th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 8-5 record is not bad and everything may still change. Chatman is a newcomer at Karsiyaka and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.2ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 5.9rpg and 6.3apg.

The third best performed player last round was former international forward Umit Sonkol (206-F-82) of Aliaga (#9). Sonkol scored 26 points and grabbed thirteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Aliaga, leading his team to a 67-63 win against the lower-ranked Olin Edirne (#12, 4-9). Aliaga needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 6 lost games. Sonkol has a great season in Turkey. After 13 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.6rpg (6th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Bradley Buckman (203-F-84) of Tofas - 18 points and 9 rebounds
5. Jovo Stanojevic (208-C-77) of Karsiyaka - 14 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Jonathan Gibson (182-PG-87) of Trabzonspor - 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists
7. Gary McGhee (208-C-88) of Bandirma Kir. - 15 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists
8. Vladimir Stimac (209-C-87) of Olin Edirne - 10 points and 9 rebounds
9. Goran Ikonic (196-G-80) of Karsiyaka - 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists
10. Corey Fisher (185-G-88) of Antalya - 19 points and 6 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
