Erdemit continues with signings for the next season. The TKBL newcomer brought in Turkish power forward/center Melike Bakircioglu (191-F/C-87, agency: 1x1 Sports). The 25-year-old player arrives to Erdemit from Samsun, where she spent last season. In 24 TKBL games Bakircioglu averaged 7.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists. Before Samsun, she spent one year with Besiktas. There Bakircioglu had a very limited playing time. Melike Bakircioglu is a product of Fenerbahce, where she spent several years in the past. She left them two years ago. In the past, Melike Bakircioglu played for Turkish U20, U18 and U16 National Teams. In 2007/08, she also played for the senior squad and appeared in one game during the EuroBasket 2009 Qualification. In 2009, Bakircioglu played for Turkish University National Team. For her performance last season with Samsun she was awarded with Eurobasket.com Turkish TKBL All-Domestic Players Team -12 and participated at TKBL All-Star game.

The game without a history. Orman led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Botas' 26. They outrebounded Botas 40-27 including 26 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for American power forward Chasity Melvin (191-76, college: N.Carolina St.) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 17 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line).
