Georgios Dikeoulakos (agency: FCM ) farewell to Fenerbahce. According to lovewomensbasketball.com via pota6, the Greek specialist will leave the Turkish team. Unofficially, the reason for such decision was because Fenerbahce refused to re-sign point guard Elina Babkina. Eurobasket wrote earlier that Georgios Dikeoulakos (agency: FCM ) will remain with Fenerbahce for the next season. The Greek head Coach as well as Nevin Nevlin, Esmeral Tuncluer and Kubra Siyahdemir were supposed to stay with the team. In 2006 he went to the States at the training camps of Chicago Bulls and Milwaukee Bucks from the N.B.A., and De Paul, Marquette, Northwestern, S. Francis from N.C.A.A. Dikaioulakos is the most successful coach in the history of Greek women basketball. After winning the double in 2009 with Athinaikos, he led the club to the treble in 2010 by winning the FIBA Eurochallenge and doing the double in Greece again. He was then appointed as Head coach of Latvias National Team and in the summer of 2010 he lead them to qualification for the Eurobasket 2011. In January 2011 he took over Lotos Gdynia and in March he won the Polish Cup. Dikaioulakos has also won the gold medal in the Mens U18 European Championship with Greece as assistant coach to Kostas Missas.

Carolyn Swords signed a deal with Ceyhan Belediyesi last year. She currently plays in the WNBA with the Chicago Sky. Swords split 2011 season between Spain and Turkey. She started it with Soller Joventud Mariana averaging 13.5 points and 8.4 rebounds for 11 games in LFB. In January, the player moved to Istanbul Universitesi SK. With them she had 11.9 ppg, 10.8 rpg and 1 bpg for 12 games. It was the first season in Europe for Carolyn Swords, who graduated at the Boston College something more than a year ago. She had 17.5 ppg, 9.5 rpg and 1.5 rpg for her school in 2010/11. After that, Swords got a deal with Chicago Sky averaging 2.5 points and 1.8 rebounds for 28 WNBA games. In 2012-2013 for Ceyhan Belediyespor (Turkey-TKBL, starting five) she became the 5th top-scorer in the League with 16.3ppg, 8.1rpg, FGP-1 (67.8%), FT: 71.4%.
