According to Ismail Senol of NTV Spor, Fenerbahce Ulker agreed in principle with David Hawkins. The American player spent last season in Turkey with Besiktas winning Eurochallenge, National Cup and TBL. Hawkins has worked under Simone Pianigiani in the season 2009-10 winning with Siena: Serie A, Supercup and Italian Cup.
