TED Ankara continues with signings for the next season. Their latest addition is Nigerian Mactabene Amachree (190-G-78, college: Abil.Christian). She will be used at position 3. Amachree spent last season with Homend Antakya Belediyesi averaging 7.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists for 22 TKBL games. In 2010/11, Amachree was a member of Samsun. There she had 7.9 ppg and 5.3 rpg for 22 appearances. Before Samsun, Mactabene Amachree spent one year with Mersin and one with Ted Kayseri. She also has experience from Besiktas, Tarsus, Migros and CSKA Moscow. Mactabene Amachree played for the Nigerian NT three years ago at AfroBasket in Madagascar. In 2005, they won AfroBasket Gold together.

Carolyn Swords signed a deal with Ceyhan Belediyesi last year. She currently plays in the WNBA with the Chicago Sky. Swords split 2011 season between Spain and Turkey. She started it with Soller Joventud Mariana averaging 13.5 points and 8.4 rebounds for 11 games in LFB. In January, the player moved to Istanbul Universitesi SK. With them she had 11.9 ppg, 10.8 rpg and 1 bpg for 12 games. It was the first season in Europe for Carolyn Swords, who graduated at the Boston College something more than a year ago. She had 17.5 ppg, 9.5 rpg and 1.5 rpg for her school in 2010/11. After that, Swords got a deal with Chicago Sky averaging 2.5 points and 1.8 rebounds for 28 WNBA games. In 2012-2013 for Ceyhan Belediyespor (Turkey-TKBL, starting five) she became the 5th top-scorer in the League with 16.3ppg, 8.1rpg, FGP-1 (67.8%), FT: 71.4%.

Istanbul Universitesi SK added 26-year old Romanian Gabriela Marginean (182-F-87, college: Drexel) for the next season.
The season 2012 she started at CSM Targoviste in Romanian Liga Nationala. In 36 games she recorded 14.1ppg, 3.2rpg, 1.8apg and 1.1spg this season. Marginean also played 10 games in Eurocup where she averaged remarkable 16.9ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.0spg. The previous (10-11) season she played at Panathinaikos (A1) in Greek league. In 26 games she was second best scorer with great 17.0ppg and had 7.3rpg, 1.5apg and 2.2spg that season. She contributed to her team making it to the semifinals. Great season indeed as she was selected Eurobasket.com All-Greek League Bosman Player of the Year and voted to 1st Team and voted to All-Bosmans Team. Marginean attended Drexel University until 2010 and it will be her third season in pro basketball. She was voted CAA Player of the Year back in 2009 at her college time.
