Besiktas officially announced signing of 1-year contact extension with Baris Hersek (204-F/C-88) and Serhat Cetin (197-G-86). Baris Hersek joined Besiktas last summer from Antalya. He played 32 TBL games last season averaging 2.8 points and 1.4 rebounds. The Turkish big guy also had 2 ppg and 1.3 rpg for 10 games in EuroChallenge. Before Besiktas and Antalya, he played for Banvit, Darussafaka and Efes Pilsen. Serhat Cetin arrived to Besiktas in 2010 from Feberbahce Ulker. Last season he had 6.2 ppg, 3.1 apg and 2.3 rpg in 34 TBL games. His numbers were lower in 15 EuroChallenge appearances. Besiktas had perfect season winning TBL and EuroChallenge titles, plus they won the Turkish Cup. The team will play in Euroleague next season.
