The hosts were already 11 points ahead at halftime and as many as 17 after three quarters before a 29-19 last quarter charge of Final Genclik cut the lead to 86-79 at the end of the game. American forward Justin Knox (205-F-89, college: N.Carolina) nailed a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and his fellow American import guard Antabia Waller (188-88, college: Auburn) accounted for 19 points. Knox is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American forward Marshall Moses (198-89, college: Oklahoma St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Erdem Ilter (-90) added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Final Genclik in the defeat.

Zafer Aktas joined staff of Gaziantep Basketbol under head coach Stefanos Dedas . Zafer Aktas spent last 10 season in TBL team Ahkisar Belediye as head coach. He led his team to reach Play-off 5 seasons and Akhisar Belediye eliminated in semi finals in 2012/13 season. Gaziantep Basketbol (BSL) strengthened their roster with addition of experienced 36-year old American power forward Marcus Haislip (208-104kg-80, college: Tennessee).
