The Regular Season in TB2L just started.

Vestel - Final Genclik 86-79
The hosts were already 11 points ahead at halftime and as many as 17 after three quarters before a 29-19 last quarter charge of Final Genclik cut the lead to 86-79 at the end of the game. American forward Justin Knox (205-F-89, college: N.Carolina) nailed a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and his fellow American import guard Antabia Waller (188-88, college: Auburn) accounted for 19 points. Knox is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American forward Marshall Moses (198-89, college: Oklahoma St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Erdem Ilter (-90) added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Final Genclik in the defeat.

Usak made 30-of-39 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. Yesilgiresun was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. Americans were the main players on the court. Avtodor Saratov (VTB) signed 27-year old American forward Ian Hummer (201-102kg-90, college: Princeton). He played last season at TED Kolejliler in Turkish BSL league. In 21 games he had very impressive stats: 15.1ppg, 7.0rpg, 1.4apg and 1.8spg. Aris Thessaloniki (A1) added to their roster 32-year old American power forward Brent Petway (205-85, college: Michigan). He played last season at Pinar Karsiyaka in Turkish BSL league.
