Mapooro Cantu raced to the second win in Euroleague Group A. The Italian team breezed past Fenerbahce at home court. Beye Tabu-Eboma (184-SG-85) scored 16 points and grabbed 7 rebounds for the hosts. Fenerbahce fell at 3-2 record after the loss.
Cantu stunned the visitors early in the encounter. The hosts strongly started the game posting a 23:12 lead after ten minutes. Cantu dominated in the second period. They established a 41:27 halftime advantage. Cantu kept Fenerbahce at safe distance throughout the third term. The home side built a 16-point lead before the final frame. Cantu unleashed 25 points in the final period and sealed the winning outcome at the end. Marco Cusin (210-C-85, agency: Interperformances) and Jeff Brooks (203-F-89, college: Penn St.) netted 15 points each for the winners. Romain Sato (194-G/F-81, college: Xavier) answered with 10 points for Fenerbahce. Bojan Bogdanovic (203-SG-89) and David Andersen (212-C-80) had 8 points each in the loss.

This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of second-best Eskisehir Basket (15-3) to tenth ranked Bandirma Kir. (8-10) 78-77 on Wednesday evening.
