Anadolu Efes overcame a slow start to clinch the home win over Emporio Armani in Euroleague Group C. Sasha Vujacic (201-SG-84) unloaded 29 points to lead the hosts to the victory. Emporio Armani fell at 2-4 record after the loss.
Anadolu Efes eked out a narrow 20:18 lead after ten minutes. But the visitors took over in the second frame. Emporio Armani limited the hosts to just 7 points in the second frame. The Italian team ensured a 36:27 halftime lead. Anadolu Efes came back to life late in the third quarter. They capped the period on a 6:2 run to earn a 54:52 lead. Anadolu Efes used an 11:2 rally midway through the final frame to take a 67:56 lead. The hosts kept Emporio Armani at safe distance throughout the rest of the contest and celebrated an important victory at the end. Kerem Gonlum (208-PF-77) and Jamon Lukas Gordon (191-SG-84, college: Virginia Tech) netted 10 points apiece for the winners. Keith Langford (193-SG-83, college: Kansas) answered with 15 points for Emporio Armani. Malik Hairston (198-G/F-87, college: Oregon) netted 14 points in the loss.

Artvin Belediye (TB2L) signed 26-year old Mufit Can Alp (91). He played last season at Final Genclik (TBL). In 8 games he had 3.5ppg and 1.0rpg. Part of previous (2015-16) season Birer spent at Pertevniyal (TBL). But in two games he had just 1.0ppg. He also spent pre-season at Anadolu Efes (BSL) that year. Mamak Belediye Ankara D.S.I. (TBL) tabbed 21-year old center Serkan Kirce (204-100kg-96) from Turk Telekom. But in 32 TBL games he averaged just 1.0ppg and 1.2rpg last season. The previous (15-16) season Kirce played at Orkide Gediz Univeristesi where in two TBL games he did not score anything and had only 1 rebound. He was selected to U19 National Team in 2015.
