It's still too early stage of the Regular Season in TBL, but even now we can clearly see the differece between stronger teams and outsiders.

Mersin can celebrate finally their first win this season after five consecutive loses. The victory is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked Hacettepe (2-4)on the road game in Ankara 76-72 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 24-15 charge, which allowed them to win the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Hacettepe helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was naturalized American forward Ali Karadeniz (203-80, college: Arizona) who scored 20 points and 7 rebounds. American point guard David Holston (170-86, college: Chicago St., agency: Priority Sports) chipped in 20 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Courtney Eldridge (176-80, college: NC-Greensboro, agency: Alti Sport) who recorded 15 points and 6 assists. Hacettepe's coach Alp Bayramoglu rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Mersin (1-5) left bottom position moving up to fourteenth place, which they share with Antalya and Gaziantep. Hacettepe at the other side dropped to the ninth position with four games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Mersin is looking forward to face league's leader Galatasaray in Istanbul in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Hacettepe will play on the road against Besiktas (#7) in Istanbul and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Undefeated leader Galatasaray delivered the sixth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 7th ranked TED Kolejliler (3-3) 90-66 in Istanbul. It was a good game for the former international swingman Cenk Akyol (198-87) who led his team to a victory with 23 points. Milan Macvan contributed with 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. New Zealand guard Kirk Penney (196-80, college: Wisconsin, agency: Duran International) replied with 18 points for TED Kolejliler. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Undefeated Galatasaray (6-0) have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 6 victories in a row. Newly promoted TED Kolejliler dropped to the sixth place with three games lost. They share the position with Besiktas and Aliaga. Galatasaray will play against bottom-ranked Mersin (#16) in Akdeniz in the next round which should be another easy win for them.
