Here is the weekly review of the top performing Turkish players, who play currently abroad.

Ersan Ilyasova
Ersan Ilyasova
#1. This week's number one is an international forward Ersan Ilyasova (207-87, currently plays in NBA). He led Milwaukee Bucks to a 1-point victory over the Chicago Bulls (8-7) 93-92 in the NBA in Monday night's game. Ilyasova was MVP of the game. He scored 18 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 22 minutes on the court. The Milwaukee Bucks have 8-7 record this season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Ilyasova has relatively good stats this year: 7.3ppg, 4.9rpg, 1.6apg, 2FGP: 40.7%, 3FGP: 22.6% and FT: 57.9% in the 14 games he played so far. He played for the Turkish senior national team one years ago.

Omer Asik
Omer Asik
#2. Second place goes to an international center Omer Asik (213-86, currently plays in NBA). Asik led Houston Rockets to an easy victory against the Toronto Raptors (4-13) 117-101 in the NBA last Tuesday. He recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting 18 rebounds. The Houston Rockets have 8-8 record this season. But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Asik's first year with the team. This season Asik has relatively solid stats: 11.0ppg, 12.3rpg, 1.3apg, 1.3bpg, 2FGP: 49.6% and FT: 58.3%. He played for the Turkish national team in 2011.

Enes Kanter
Enes Kanter
#3. The Turkish player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Enes Kanter (208-92, college: Kentucky, currently plays in NBA), who plays in the NBA. Kanter could not help the Utah Jazz (9-9) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the Utah Jazz lost 94-106 on the road to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Kanter was the top scorer with 18 points. He also added 7 rebounds in a mere 15 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Kanter's second season in pro basketball. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. This year Kanter averages: 5.4ppg, 3.8rpg, 2FGP: 53.1% and FT: 57.1% in the 18 games. He is also a member of the Turkish senior national team.

Deniz Kilicli
Deniz Kilicli

Kilicli is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fifth year in W.Virginia's roster. Kilicli has reliable stats this season: 11.2ppg, 4.5rpg, 1.4apg and 1.8spg in the 11 games. Inan scored 9 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and made 2 blocks. 08 Stockholm (8-6) is placed sixth in the Basketligan. It's Inan's first season with the team. He has reliable stats this year: 12.2ppg, 4.1rpg, 3.3apg and 1.1spg.

#2. Serkan Inan (198-G-86, currently plays in Sweden), who plays in the Swedish Basketligan could not help White Eagles (4-10) in their last game. Despite Inan's good performance White Eagles lost 66-71 on the road to the leading Sundsvall Dragons. He was the second best scorer with 10 points. Inan also added 4 rebounds in 31 minutes. BSL Round 15: Besiktas are defeated by Anadolu Efes in a derby game - 6 hours ago
BSL is at the halfway of the Regular Season and there are still another 15 rounds left. The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Istanbul: Anadolu Efes (#2) and Besiktas (#3). Besiktas was defeated at home 83-93 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Anadolu Efes looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Derrick Brown (203-87, college: Xavier) who led his team to a victory scoring 1...   [read more]

LaRon Dendy
Dendy's double-double lands him TBL Player of the Week award - 6 hours ago
28-year old center LaRon Dendy (205-C-88) had a great game in the last round for Duzce Bld. and receives a Eurobasket.com TBL Player of the Week award for round 19. He had a double-double of 29 points and 13 rebounds, while his team beat Akhisar Bld (#11, 8-11) 80-65. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Duzce Bld. maintains the 16th position in Turkish TBL. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low....   [read more]
