The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with change at the leadership position, derby games, favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

TB2L round 10 caused change at the leadership position. Second defeat of league's leader Darussafaka (8-2) against sixth ranked Yesilgiresun (6-4) 88-81 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Darussafaka. 26 personal fouls committed by Darussafaka helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Alex Gordon (184-85, college: Vanderbilt) who helped to win the game recording 27 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!). The other American import center John Ofoegbu (206-84, college: Idaho St.) contributed with 21 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Serbian center Aleksandar Petrovic (204-87) replied with 20 points and 5 rebounds for Darussafaka. Darussafaka's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Yesilgiresun have an impressive five-game winning streak. Newly promoted Yesilgiresun maintains sixth position with 6-4 record. Darussafaka at the other side dropped to the second place with two games lost. They share the position with Usak and Maliye Milli. They were replaced at the leadership position by Selcuk Univ.. Darussafaka will play next round against Akhisar Bld trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Yesilgiresun will try to continue on its current victory against seventeenth ranked Baskent Genclik in Ankara.
Bottom-ranked Izmir BSB is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their tenth consecutive match to fifteenth ranked Bandirma Kir. (4-6) 65-58. American forward Gilbert Brown (198-87, college: Pittsburgh) scored 17 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Ahmet Cantitiz chipped in 21 points during the contest. At the losing side Mehmet Sinan Ozgur (-82) responded with 10 points and 8 rebounds. Izmir BSB's coach tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Bandirma Kir. moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Istanbul B.B. Newly promoted Izmir BSB still closes the standings with ten games lost. Bandirma Kir. will play against higher ranked Pertevniyal (#11) in Istanbul in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Izmir BSB will play on the road against Trabzonspor (#10) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
The game in Trabzon was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Maliye Milli (8-2) played at the court of 8th ranked Trabzonspor (5-5). Maliye Milli managed to secure a 5-point victory 93-88 on Saturday. Derek Williams notched 24 points and 6 assists to lead the effort. Maliye Milli's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Even a double-double of 19 points and 13 rebounds by Erdem Turetken did not help to save the game for Trabzonspor. Maliye Milli have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Darussafaka and Usak. Loser Trabzonspor dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Maliye Milli will meet at home league's leader Selcuk Universitesi in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Trabzonspor will play against Izmir BSB (#18) and hope to secure a win.
The game in Balikesir was also worth to mention about. Second ranked Selcuk Universitesi (9-1) played at the court of 7th ranked Balikesir (5-5). Selcuk Universitesi did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 72-54. Bill Clark fired a double-double by scoring 15 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Selcuk Universitesi's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Selcuk Universitesi have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader. Newly promoted Balikesir keeps the seventh place with five games lost. Selcuk Universitesi's next round opponent will be Maliye Milli (#4) in Ankara. Balikesir will play on the road against Gelisim in Izmir and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Important game to mention about took place in Istanbul. Twelfth ranked Istanbul B.B. (4-6) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 14th ranked Istanbulspor (3-7) 67-65 on Saturday evening. It was a very good performance for Arthur Johnson who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 7 rebounds. No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Usak (8-2) beat at home 7th ranked Vestel (5-5) 88-83 on Sunday.
