Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Turks who are currently playing abroad.

Omer Asik
Omer Asik
#1. This week's number one is an international center Omer Asik (213-86, currently plays in NBA), who plays in the NBA. He could not help the Houston Rockets (11-11) in their last game. Despite Asik's very good performance the Houston Rockets lost in an overtime 126-134 on the road to the San Antonio Spurs. He had a double-double by scoring 21 points and getting 10 rebounds. Asik also added 2 blocks in 35 minutes on the court. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Asik has relatively good stats this year: 10.5ppg, 11.5rpg, 1.2apg, 1.1bpg, 2FGP: 48.6% and FT: 58.4% in the 22 games he played so far. He played for the Turkish senior national team one years ago.

Ersan Ilyasova
Ersan Ilyasova
#2. Second place goes to an international forward Ersan Ilyasova (207-87, currently plays in NBA). Ilyasova led Milwaukee Bucks to a victory against the Sacramento Kings (7-15) 98-85 in the NBA last Wednesday. He recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 14 rebounds. Ilyasova also added 2 blocks. The Milwaukee Bucks have 12-10 record this season. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. But the season just started, so everything may happen. This year Ilyasova has relatively solid stats: 8.9ppg, 5.5rpg, 1.3apg, 2FGP: 43.0%, 3FGP: 31.3% and FT: 72.2%. He played for the Turkish national team in 2011.

Enes Kanter
Enes Kanter
#3. The Turkish player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Enes Kanter (208-92, college: Kentucky, currently plays in NBA). Kanter contributed to an Utah Jazz's victory against the Los Angeles Lakers (10-14) 117-110 in the NBA on Sunday night. He recorded 14 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in a mere 18 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Kanter's second season in pro basketball. The Utah Jazz has 13-12 record this season. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. This year Kanter's overall stats are: 6.6ppg, 4.0rpg, 2FGP: 55.0%(71-129) and FT: 64.7% in the 25 games. He is also a member of the Turkish senior national team.

Deniz Kilicli
Deniz Kilicli
#4. Forward Deniz Kilicli (206-90, currently plays college basketball in the States) was not able to help the W.Virginia (0-1) in their game against the University of Duquesne (0-0) in the NCAA. He scored 6 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. The W.Virginia was defeated 60-56 in Pittsburgh, PA by the University of Duquesne. It's Kilicli's fifth season with the team. Kilicli has reliable stats this year: 11.6ppg, 4.0rpg and 2.9apg. He used to play for the Turkish U20 national team back in 2010.

The list of other players, who all have Turkish passport but never been selected to any of Turkish national teams:

#1. Kevin Kaspar (183-G-92, currently plays college basketball in the States) contributed to an easy victory against the Indiana Univ-Purdue Univ-Indianapolis (0-2) crushing them 77-57 in the NCAA in Saturday night's game. Kaspar scored 9 points, had 6 rebounds and dished 5 assists. The Western Kentucky University has 2-0 conference record this season. But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go. This season Kaspar averages: 6.6ppg and 4.0rpg.

#2. Erkan Inan (192-G-89, currently plays in Sweden) led 08 Stockholm to an easy victory against the league outsider Nassjo (3-14) 94-79 in the Swedish Basketligan last Friday. He scored 11 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 22 minutes. 08 Stockholm (9-7) is placed sixth in the Basketligan. Inan has reliable stats this year: 11.6ppg, 4.0rpg and 2.9apg in the 14 games he played so far.
