Fifteenth-ranked Antalya (2-10) gave a tough game to first ranked Fenerbahce Ulker (11-1) on Saturday. The visitors from Istanbul managed to secure only three-point victory 86-83. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Antalya won third quarter 23-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Fenerbahce Ulker won last quarter 22-20. Worth to mention a great performance of Bosnian-Croatian Bojan Bogdanovic (203-89) who helped to win the game recording 23 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and international Emir Preldzic (205-87, agency: Beo Basket) who added 12 points and 4 assists during the contest. Fenerbahce Ulker's coach Simone Pianigiani used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was American forward Jermareo Davidson (208-84, college: Alabama) with 22 points and 4 assists. Fenerbahce Ulker have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 11-1 record. Antalya lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Hacettepe. Fenerbahce Ulker are looking forward to face Aliaga (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Antalya will play against Gaziantep (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
14th ranked Turk Telekom (3-9) was outscored at home by seventh ranked TED Kolejliler (7-5) with the biggest margin this round 89-55. Even 14 points and 5 assists by American point guard Dee Brown (185-84, college: Illinois, agency: Priority Sports) did not help to save the game for Turk Telekom. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. TED Kolejliler have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Besiktas. Turk Telekom lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth position with nine games lost. Hacettepe - Banvit BK 70-91
