The round was rather attractive and full of interesting results. The round ended with derby games, favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

The game between second ranked Galatasaray (10-3) and fourth ranked Banvit BK (11-2) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. Galatasaray was defeated by Banvit BK in a tough game in Balikesir 67-74. It was a key game for the second position in the league. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 74-67. American-Azerbaijani center Charles Davis (205-84, college: Alabama) fired 17 points for the winners. Serbian center Vladimir Stimac (211-87, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 12 points. Banvit BK's coach Orhun Ene used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard David Hawkins (194-82, college: Temple) produced 18 points for lost side. Banvit BK have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Anadolu Efes. Galatasaray at the other side dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Karsiyaka. Banvit BK is looking forward to face Antalya (#15) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Galatasaray will play against Hacettepe (#16) in Ankara and is hoping to win this game.
Leader Fenerbahce Ulker delivered the twelfth victory. This time they crushed 9th ranked Aliaga (5-8) 95-61 in Istanbul. Worth to mention a great performance of international Emir Preldzic (205-87, agency: Beo Basket) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 9 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Bo McCalebb contributed with 14 points and 5 assists for the winners. Fenerbahce Ulker's coach Simone Pianigiani felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American center Torin Francis (210-83, college: Notre Dame) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds for Aliaga. Fenerbahce Ulker (12-1) have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain first place. Aliaga at the other side dropped to the eighth position with eight games lost. They share it with Tofas and Erdemir. Fenerbahce Ulker will play against league's second-placed Anadolu Efes in Istanbul in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Aliaga will play at home against Gaziantep (#11) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game in Bursa supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked Anadolu Efes (11-2) played at the court of 8th ranked Tofas (5-8). Anadolu Efes smashed Tofas 94-71 on Monday. Dusko Savanovic stepped up and scored 22 points and 4 steals (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. At the losing side Chinemelu Elonu responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!). The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Anadolu Efes. Anadolu Efes will meet at home league's leader Fenerbahce Ulker in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Tofas will play against Olin Edirne (#14) and hope to secure a win.
Eleventh-ranked Mersin (4-9) made lots of trouble for seventh ranked TED Kolejliler (8-5) in Ankara. TED Kolejliler managed to secure only three-point victory 88-85. However their fans expected much easier game. Kirk Penney nailed 30 points for the winning side. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for TED Kolejliler. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Besiktas. Mersin at the other side keeps the eleventh position with nine games lost. TED Kolejliler's next round opponent will be Besiktas (#6) in Istanbul. Mersin will play on the road against Tofas (#10) in Bursa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Ankara: Turk Telekom (#13) and Hacettepe (#15).
