The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with change at the leadership position, derby games and games ending by tiny margin.

TBL round 14 caused change at the leadership position. Second defeat of league's leader Fenerbahce Ulker (12-2) against third ranked Anadolu Efes (12-2) 94-76 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Fenerbahce Ulker. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game without a history. Anadolu Efes led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Anadolu Efes outrebounded Fenerbahce Ulker 33-22 including 24 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The former international power forward Semih Erden (211-86) orchestrated the victory by scoring 27 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Slovenian Sasha Vujacic (201-84) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Bosnian-Croatian Bojan Bogdanovic (203-89) replied with 17 points for Fenerbahce Ulker. Fenerbahce Ulker's coach rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Anadolu Efes have an impressive five-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Fener.Ulker and Banvit BK. Fenerbahce Ulker will play next round against Olin Edirne trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Anadolu Efes will try to continue on its current victory against twelfth ranked Gaziantep on the road.
Another exciting game for Besiktas (9-5) which played in Ankara against TED Kolejliler (8-6). Sixth ranked Besiktas won 69-64. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of TED Kolejliler. American guard Patrick Christopher (196-88, college: California, agency: 1x1 Sports) scored 14 points to lead the charge for the winners and Curtis Jerrells chipped in 8 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Besiktas' coach Erman Kunter allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. New Zealand guard Kirk Penney (196-80, college: Wisconsin, agency: Duran International) responded with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Besiktas have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains sixth position with 9-5 record. Newly promoted TED Kolejliler keeps the seventh place with six games lost. Besiktas will play against Mersin (#11) in Akdeniz in the next round where they are favorite. TED Kolejliler will play on the road against Karsiyaka (#4) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game in Erdemir was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Karsiyaka (11-3) played at the court of 8th ranked Erdemir (5-9). Karsiyaka defeated Erdemir 64-54 on Saturday. Will Thomas notched 16 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort. Even 11 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists by Gerrod Henderson did not help to save the game for Erdemir. Karsiyaka maintains fourth position with 11-3 record, which they share with Galatasaray. Erdemir at the other side dropped to the tenth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Mersin. Karsiyaka will meet at home TED Kolejliler (#7) in the next round. Erdemir will play against Tofas in Bursa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

The best player for the winners was Steven Burtt who scored 18 points and 5 assists. Tofas moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Aliaga. Olin Edirne lost fifth consecutive game.
