Here is the weekly review of the top performing Turkish players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is former international center Omer Asik (213-86, currently plays in NBA), who plays in the NBA. He could not help the Houston Rockets (21-17) in their last game. Despite Asik's very good performance the Houston Rockets lost 100-107 on the road to the Philadelphia 76ers. He had a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 10 rebounds in 39 minutes on the court. It was Rockets' third consecutive loss in a row. Asik has relatively good stats this year: 10.4ppg, 11.1rpg, 1.1apg, 1.1bpg, 2FGP: 53.7% and FT: 53.9% in the 38 games he played so far. He played for the Turkish senior national team two years ago.

   #2. Second place goes to former international forward Ersan Ilyasova (207-87, currently plays in NBA). Ilyasova led Milwaukee Bucks to a victory against the Chicago Bulls (20-15) 104-96 in the NBA last Wednesday. He recorded 13 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks. The Milwaukee Bucks have 18-17 record this season. This year Ilyasova has relatively solid stats: 9.2ppg, 5.6rpg, 1.5apg, 2FGP: 41.7%, 3FGP: 37.8% and FT: 76.7%. He played for the Turkish national team in 2011.

   #3. The Turkish player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Enes Kanter (208-92, college: Kentucky, currently plays in NBA). Kanter contributed to an Utah Jazz's victory against the Dallas Mavericks (15-23) 100-94 in the NBA on Monday night. He scored 6 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 15 minutes. The Utah Jazz has 20-19 record this season. This year Kanter's overall stats are: 6.3ppg, 4.2rpg, 2FGP: 53.0% and FT: 71.4% in the 37 games. He is also a member of the Turkish senior national team.

   #4. An experienced forward Hidayet Turkoglu (206-79, currently plays in NBA) was not able to help the Orlando Magic (13-23) in their game against the New York Knicks (23-13) in the NBA. Turkoglu did not have that impressive stats last Saturday. He scored only 1 points in 18 minutes. The Orlando Magic lost 106-114 in New York to the Knicks. It was Magic's tenth consecutive loss in a row. This year Turkoglu's total stats are: 4.0ppg, 2.8rpg and 2.3apg in the six games. He used to play for the Turkish national team back in 2011.

Former U20 international forward Deniz Kilicli (206-90, currently plays college basketball in the States) contributed to an overtime W.Virginia's victory against the The University of Texas (0-3) 57-53 in the NCAA on Wednesday night. Kilicli scored 8 points. The West Virginia University has 1-3 conference record this season. It's Kilicli's fifth year with the team. He has averaged so far 4.0ppg, 2.8rpg and 2.3apg. Kilicli used to play for the Turkish U20 national team three years ago.

   #1. Serkan Inan (198-G-86, currently plays in Sweden), who plays in the Swedish Basketligan could not help White Eagles (5-16) in their last game on Thursday. Despite Inan's very good performance White Eagles was crushed 104-73 in a derby game by the higher-ranked 08 Stockholm (#7). He was the top scorer with 20 points. Inan also added 5 rebounds. Inan has reliable stats this season: 12.9ppg, 4.1rpg, 1.6apg and 1.4spg. He has a dual citizenship: Turkish and Swedish.

   #2. Kevin Kaspar (183-PG-92, currently plays college basketball in the States) was not able to help the W.Kentucky (4-3) in their game against the Arkansas State University (4-4) in the NCAA. He scored 6 points in 25 minutes. The W.Kentucky (#4) lost 61-75 on the road to the Arkansas State University. It was W.Kentucky's third consecutive loss in a row. Kaspar has averaged so far 4.0ppg, 2.8rpg and 2.3apg in the six games he played so far.
