Carter
25-year old forward Justin Carter (193-F-87, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's best team Usak and receives a Eurobasket.com TB2L Player of the Week award for round 17.
He had the game-high 27 points adding nine rebounds and six assists for Usak in his team's victory, helping them to beat Pertevniyal (#15, 6-11) 85-76. It allowed Usak to consolidate first place in the Turkish TB2L. Usak have a solid 14-3 record. In the team's last game Carter had a remarkable 53.8% from 2-point range. He turned to be Usak's top player in his first season with the team. Creighton University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Carter is in league's top in points (4th best: 19.5ppg) and averages solid 1.2bpg and 41.0% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Justin Knox (205-F-89) of Vestel. He is American forward in his first season at Vestel. In the last game Knox recorded impressive 31 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. It was enough for Vestel to edge the higher-ranked Maliye Milli (#2, 13-4) by 4 points 84-80. This victory allowed Vestel to move up to 7th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 11-6 record is not bad and everything may still change. Knox is a newcomer at Vestel and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.8ppg (#2). He also registered 8.6 boards per game. Former University of North Carolina star Knox is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Marshall Moses (198-F-89) of Final Genclik (#10). Moses scored 16 points and grabbed fifteen rebounds (!!!). Despite Moses' great performance Final Genclik lost 66-76 to slightly lower-ranked Istanbul B.B. (#12, 7-10). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Final Genclik ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 9 games, recording just eight victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Moses could help Final Genclik to bring them higher in the standings. Moses has a great season in Turkey. After 17 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.9rpg (4th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. KZell Wesson (201-F-77) of Baskent Genclik - 16 points and 15 rebounds
5. Tyrone Nelson (206-F-85) of Akhisar Bld - 26 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Raymond Sykes (206-F/C-86) of Bandirma Kir. - 20 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Kervin Bristol (208-F-88) of Istanbulspor - 14 points and 17 rebounds
8. Anthony Brown (203-F-86) of Pertevniyal - 20 points and 14 rebounds
9. Jermaine Dearman (202-F/C-80) of Gelisim - 21 points and 10 rebounds
10. Ahmet Bugrahan (G-94) of Istanbul B.B. - 19 points and 6 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
