The Regular Season in TKB2L is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 3 rounds.

Seventh-ranked Sakarya (4-11) made lots of trouble for fourth ranked Sirince (10-5) on Sunday. The visitors from Hatay managed to secure only three-point victory 61-58. However their fans expected easier game. Sirince forced 22 Sakarya turnovers. The best player for the winners was Selin Oztekin (-90) who scored 6 points, 20 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Irem Tulgar (-90) chipped in 18 points. Sirince's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was Sevgi Esenler (-88) who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and 17 rebounds. Newly promoted Sirince maintains fourth place in Group C with 10-5 record. Sakarya at the other side keeps the seventh position with 11 games lost. They share it with Bigaspor. Sirince are looking forward to face Nigde Turk Telekom (#10) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Sakarya will play against Bigaspor in Canakkale and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Important game to mention about took place in Mersin. Fifth ranked Asistanbul (8-6) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 6th ranked Mersin Univ. (5-8) 55-52 on Friday evening. It was a good game for swingman Ayse Cora (175-93, agency: 1x1 Sports) who led her team to a victory with 19 points and 6 rebounds. Arzu Ozyigit contributed with 6 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Gizem Kumandanoglu (-94) answered with 17 points, 5 assists and 6 steals for Mersin Univ.Mersin Univ.'s coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Asistanbul moved-up to fourth place in Group B. Mersin Univ. at the other side keeps the sixth position with eight games lost. Asistanbul will play against Izmir BSB (#5) at home in the next round. Mersin Univ. will play against Nevsehir Uni. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Dizdar's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Botas have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They keep a position of Group A leader, which they share with Nallihan and Altay Konak. Dizdar lost third consecutive game. Dizdar at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fourth place with six games lost. Botas will meet Celtispor (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Dizdar will play against 55 Genclik (#5) in Samsun and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Leader Orduspor delivered the twelfth victory. This time they crushed bottom-ranked Harranspor (0-13) 85-37. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Orduspor. They maintain first place in Group B with 12-1 record. Harranspor lost their thirteenth game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with 13 games lost. Orduspor's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Bursa BSB at home and it will be for sure the game of the week. Harranspor will play against Orman (#3) in Ankara and hopes to get finally their first victory.
Undefeated leader Cankaya recorded the fifteenth consecutive victory on Sunday night. This time they crushed 5th ranked Tekkekoy (7-8) 84-58 in Samsun. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Tekkekoy. The best player for the winners was Candide Ozturk who scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Cankaya's coach felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fifteenth consecutive win for Cankaya. They maintain first place in Group C with 15-0 record. Newly promoted Tekkekoy keeps the fifth position with eight games lost. Cankaya will face Gure (#3) in Balikesir in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Tekkekoy will play at home against Balcova in Izmir and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Other games of round 15 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
In Group A Altay Konak crushed 55 Genclik in Izmir 94-65. Nallihan smashed Celtispor at home 114-27.
In Group B Nevsehir Uni. was destroyed by Orman on the opponent's court 93-37. Bursa BSB managed to outperform Anadolu Univ. in a home game 77-68.
In Group C Bigaspor was rolled over Edirne on the road 92-38. Gure crushed Harran Uni. on its own court 112-34. Winless Nigde T.T. was smashed by Balcova in Izmir 77-45.
The best stats of 15th round was 27 points, 21 rebounds and 10 blocks by Sharon Houston of Nallihan.

Dizdar - Botas 70-75

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Istanbul. Third ranked Botas faced 4th placed Dizdar. Guests from Adana (13-2) defeated host Dizdar (9-6) 75-70. There was no surprise in Samsun where 5th ranked 55 Genclik (8-7) was crushed by second ranked Altay Konak (13-2) 94-65 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Altay Konak. 55 Genclik was better in fourth quarter 22-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Altay Konak dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to 55 Genclik's 38. Altay Konak forced 19 55 Genclik turnovers and outrebounded them 39-28 including 30 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by 55 Genclik's players. The best player for the winners was American forward LaToya Thomas (188-81, college: Mississippi St., agency: Ronsport) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 19 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Forward Seda Guclu (182-88) chipped in 24 points. Four Altay Konak players scored in double figures. Altay Konak's coach felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Nola Taylor (188-87, college: Tex.A&M-Comm.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds and center Neslihan Ozkan (-93) added 4 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Celtispor to just 0 points in fourth quarter and to 6 points in second half. Nallihan held Celtispor to an opponent 16.7 percent shooting from the field compared to 50.0 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Celtispor 60-37 including a 39-23 advantage in defensive rebounds.
