Slovenian forward Jure Balazic (204-80) produced 24 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Erdemir's coach Ozhan Civgin rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Banvit BK. Erdemir at the other side keeps the eighth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Tofas and Aliaga. Erdemir will play next round against Gaziantep trying to get back on the winning streak. Fenerbahce Ulker will try to continue on its current victory against seventh ranked TED Kolejliler in Ankara.

Hacettepe - Aliaga 63-56

Bottom-ranked Hacettepe managed to get a third victory on Sunday night. This time they won against ninth-ranked Aliaga in Ankara 63-56. Aliaga was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Strangely Aliaga outrebounded Hacettepe 38-26 including a 34-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Ricardo Marsh (207-81, college: ODU) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Ali Isik (206-90) who added 11 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American power forward Marcus Arnold (207-84, college: Illinois, agency: Stanley International) responded with 15 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import center Torin Francis (210-83, college: Notre Dame) scored 6 points and 13 rebounds. Hacettepe (3-13) moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Antalya and Olin Edirne. Loser Aliaga dropped to the eighth position with ten games lost. They share it with Tofas and Erdemir. Hacettepe will meet higher ranked Anadolu Efes (#5) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Aliaga will play against Galatasaray having rather not much hope for a victory.
