The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Selcuk Universitesi as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Selcuk Universitesi defeated 6th ranked Trabzonspor in Konya 80-75. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 24-13. But Trabzonspor won second period 15-9. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 33 personal fouls committed by Trabzonspor helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Forward Hadi Ozdemir (203-83) fired 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American Bill Clark (195-88, college: Duquesne) chipped in 18 points. American guard Henry Antwan Dobie (183-78, college: LIU Brooklyn) produced 16 points and 5 assists for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Usak and Maliye Milli. Trabzonspor at the other side dropped to the seventh place with eight games lost. They share the position with Darussafaka. Trabzonspor will play next round against Gelisim trying to get back on the winning streak. Selcuk Universitesi will try to continue on its current victory against eighteenth ranked Izmir BSB on the road.

Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Tyrone Nelson (206-85, college: N.Mexico St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 20 rebounds. Guven Esmer contributed with 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American forward Justin Carter (193-87, college: Creighton, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) answered with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for Usak. Usak's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Akhisar Bld moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Vestel. Usak at the other side still keeps top position with five games lost. They share it with Selcuk Univ. and Maliye Milli. Akhisar Bld will play against Istanbulspor (#17) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Usak will play against Maliye Milli (#3) in Ankara and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

A very interesting game took place in Izmir. It ended with only one-point home defeat of higher ranked Gelisim (10-9) to thirteenth ranked Bandirma Kir. (9-10) 72-71 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Gelisim. It was an exceptional evening for Raymond Sykes who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds. Gelisim's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Bandirma Kir. moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Final Genclik. Gelisim at the other side keeps the ninth position with nine games lost. Bandirma Kir.'s next round opponent will be Istanbul B.B. (#13) at home.
The game with biggest result difference took place in Istanbul. Local Istanbulspor (3-16) was outscored by fourth ranked Yesilgiresun (13-6) 80-57 on Saturday night. Alex Gordon fired 21 points and 6 assists for the winners. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Yesilgiresun have a solid series of three victories in a row. Newly promoted Yesilgiresun maintains fourth place with 13-6 record. Istanbulspor lost tenth consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth position with 16 games lost. Yesilgiresun will face Pi Koleji (#16) in Ankara in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Istanbulspor will play on the road against Akhisar Bld.

Other games of round 19 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
bottom-ranked Izmir BSB was defeated by Balikesir in a road game 86-74. Maliye Milli beat Final Genclik at home 91-87. Pertevniyal lost to Pi Koleji on the opponent's court 67-76. Istanbul B.B. unfortunately lost to Baskent Genclik in a home game 71-76.
The best stats of 19th round was 26 points and 8 rebounds by Halit Serdar Gungor of Pi Koleji.


Usak - Akhisar Bld 70-71

Izmir BSB was better in fourth quarter 27-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Balikesir shot 27 for 47 from the free-throw line, while Izmir BSB only scored eleven points from the stripe. Izmir BSB was plagued by 32 personal fouls down the stretch. There was a minor upset in Ankara where 14th ranked Pertevniyal (7-12) was defeated by sixteenth ranked Pi Koleji (5-14) 76-67 on Friday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Pertevniyal won third quarter 17-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Pi Koleji won last quarter 23-15. Pi Koleji had a 32-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. Pertevniyal was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Halit Serdar Gungor (-77) fired 26 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Latvian center Kaspars Kambala (206-78, college: UNLV, agency: Alti Sport) chipped in a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Gelisim. Gelisim was ahead by 4 points at the halftime before a 24-16 third quarter run of Bandirma Kir.. They outrebounded Gelisim 39-27 including a 15-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. 26 personal fouls committed by Gelisim helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was an exceptional evening for American power forward Raymond Sykes (206-86, college: Clemson, agency: Three Eye Sports) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds. point guard Yigitcan Turna (187-87) accounted for 17 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals for the winning side.
