Tarsus Bld - Wisla Can-Pak 72:70

Tarsus Bld down Wisla Can-Pak in Turkey to finish their EuroLeague campaign on a high note. The Turkish team ended up Group B with 4-8 record after a 72:70 win. Wisla meanwhile advanced to the Play-offs with 6-6 record.
The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Wisla won the first period 20-16 and added 22-14 in the second frame. Tarsus Bld however needed a strong third period with 22-10 and then finished the game with 20-18 for the final success. Tarsus Bld forced 19 Wisla Can-Pak turnovers.
Delisha Milton-Jones (186-PF-74, agency: Josep and Nicolas, college: Florida) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 7 rebounds. Danielle Marie Robinson (178-G-89, college: Oklahoma) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Alana Beard (180-G/F-82, college: Duke) replied with 23 points and Tina Charles (193-C-88, agency: LBM Management, college: Connecticut) added 13 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Wisla Can-Pak. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.

Yakin Dogu lands Ozge Yavas - May 25, 2016

Yakin Dogu Universitesi Lefkosa (KBSL) tabbed 25-year old point guard Ozge Yavas (170-91). She moved there from Gelistirenler (KBSL) where she played this season. In 28 games she averaged 5.5ppg, 1.4rpg and 2.3apg. She helped them to make it to the Turkish Cup Semifinals. The last season Yavas played at Istanbul Uni. Jordan Hooper is a newcomer at Istanbul Uni - May 24, 2016

Istanbul Universitesi SK (KBSL) strengthened their roster with addition of 24-year old American forward Jordan Hooper (188-92, college: Nebraska). Hooper ended this season at Homentmen (Division I) in Lebanese league. But the most of that year she spent at SEQ (WNBL) in Australian league. In 15 WNBL games she was third best scorer with impressive 18.5ppg and had 8.6rpg and 1.1apg. She helped them to make it to the semifinals. Hurst
Natalie Hurst extends deal with Hatay - May 21, 2016

Natalie Hurst(164-PG-83) has agreed on terms of contract extension with Hatay. The Australian point guard will spend the next season in Turkey. Natalie Hurst joined Hatay at the start of the previous season. She averaged impressive 16.4 points, 4.2 assists and 3.8 rebounds per game in KBSL. Natalie Hurst was named into All-Turkish KBSL 1st Team. Previously Hurst had stints in Hungary, Australia and France.   [read more]
