Galatasaray M.P. Istanbul (TKBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 29-year old USA ex-international guard Lindsey Harding (173-63kg-84, college: Duke). The last summer Harding played at Atlanta in WNBA. In 37 games she recorded 12.8ppg, 2.9rpg, 4.6apg and 1.5spg. She helped them to make it to the quarterfinals. Harding also played at Dynamo Kursk (PBL) in Russian league that season. In 9 games that year she averaged impressive 16.1ppg, 4.0rpg, 3.1apg and 1.4spg. She also played 3 games in Eurocup where she averaged impressive 15.3ppg, 4.3rpg, 1.7apg and 1.0spg. In 2007 Phoenix Mercury selected her as first overall pick in WNBA draft. She attended Duke University and it will be her sixth season in pro basketball. Among other achievements Harding played in the final of WNBA in 2011. She received also Eurobasket.com All-Lithuanian LMKL Player of the Year award and Eurobasket.com All-BWBL Import Player of the Year award back in 2010. Harding was a member of USA Senior National Team between 2008 and 2010. She has played also professionally in WNBA (Washington Mystics and Minnesota Lynx), Lithuania (VICI Aistes) and Turkey (Mersin). The scouts decsribe her following way:

The game without a history. Orman led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Botas' 26. They outrebounded Botas 40-27 including 26 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for American power forward Chasity Melvin (191-76, college: N.Carolina St.) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 17 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Seda Atli (-80) helped adding 16 points and 5 rebounds. The best for the losing side was guard Cansu Yetis (168-93) with 13 points and Aylin Darinc (184-96) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
