Forward Nedim Yucel (203-F-79) had a very impressive game in the last round for TED Kolejliler, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 30. The 33-year old player had a double-double of 23 points and 21 rebounds, while his team outclassed Antalya (#16, 6-25) with 30-point margin 103-73. TED Kolejliler maintains the 7th position in Turkish TBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. TED Kolejliler will need more victories to improve their 18-13 record. Yucel turned to be TED Kolejliler's top player in his first season with the team. Nedim Yucel has solid league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 11.1rpg) and averages impressive 56.6% FGP.
The second best player in last round's games was 25-year old Nigerian Alade Aminu (210-C-87) of Karsiyaka. Aminu had a very good evening with a double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he lead Karsiyaka to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Olin Edirne (#14, 8-22) 81-60. Karsiyaka's 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 23-7 record is not bad and everything may still change. Aminu is a newcomer at Karsiyaka, but is already one of team's top players.
Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Joshua Heytvelt (210-F/C-86) of Tofas (#8). Heytvelt scored 26 points and grabbed nine rebounds. He was a key player of Tofas, leading his team to a 79-70 win against slightly lower-ranked Erdemir (#10, 11-19). The chances of Tofas ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 18 games, recording just twelve victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Heytvelt could help Tofas to bring them higher in the standings. Heytvelt has a very solid season. In 30 games in Turkey he scored 11.6ppg. He also has 6.1rpg and FGP: 62.1%.

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc. The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
