Bill Clark
American Bill Clark (195-SF-88) had an amazing evening in the last round for top-ranked Selcuk Univ., receiving a Eurobasket.com TB2L Player of the Week award for round 21.
The 24-year old player recorded a triple-double of 15 points addeding also 11 rebounds and 11 assists, while his team beat Pertevniyal (#15, 7-14) 77-66. It allowed Selcuk Univ. to consolidate first place in the Turkish TB2L. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Selcuk Univ. has a very solid 16-5 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. Clark turned to be Selcuk Univ.'s top player in his first season with the team. Former University of Duquesne star has very solid stats this year. Clark is in league's top in assists (9th best: 3.9apg) and averages impressive 60.7% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was 32-year old American Jermaine Dearman (202-F/C-80) of Gelisim. Dearman had a very good evening with a double-double of 29 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he lead Gelisim to another comfortable win 96-78 over the lower-ranked Izmir BSB (#18, 1-20) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Gelisim to move up to 8th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 12-9 record is not bad and everything may still change. Dearman is a newcomer at Gelisim, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Tyrone Nelson (206-F-85) of Akhisar Bld (#5). Nelson scored 26 points and grabbed seventeen rebounds (!!!). Despite Nelson's great performance Akhisar Bld lost 79-87 to the lower-ranked Pi Koleji (#16, 6-15). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Akhisar Bld needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 13 victories and 8 lost games. Nelson has a great season in Turkey. After 21 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.9ppg (5th best) and rebounds with 10.8rpg (3rd best). He also has 2.7spg and FGP: 59.4%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Vincent Grier (195-G/F-83) of Pi Koleji - 22 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists
5. Jurica Zuza (207-C-78) of Trabzonspor - 21 points and 9 rebounds
6. Michael Porrini (187-G-89) of Gelisim - 18 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists
7. Aubrey Reese (183-G-78) of Baskent Genclik - 28 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Arthur Johnson (206-F/C-81) of Istanbul B.B. - 27 points and 4 rebounds
9. Alex Gordon (184-G-85) of Yesilgiresun - 34 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists
10. Dogukan Sonmez (206-C-92) of Istanbulspor - 17 points and 15 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
