The round was rather attractive and full of interesting results. The round ended with favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

The game between third ranked Maliye Milli (17-8) and tenth ranked Bandirma Kir. (13-12) was the most important one in the last round on Wednesday night. Maliye Milli was edged by Bandirma Kir. in a tough game in Ankara 78-80. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 80-78. American power forward Raymond Sykes (206-86, college: Clemson, agency: Three Eye Sports) fired 26 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. point guard Yigitcan Turna (187-87) chipped in 19 points and 4 assists. Center Hakan Yapar (202-84) produced 17 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Maliye Milli's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Bandirma Kir. maintains tenth place with 13-12 record. Maliye Milli at the other side keeps the third position with eight games lost. They share it with Selcuk Univ.. Bandirma Kir. are looking forward to face higher ranked Trabzonspor (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Maliye Milli will play against Balikesir and is hoping to win this game.
Leader Usak delivered the eighteenth victory. This time they beat 11th ranked Gelisim (12-13) 68-61 in Izmir. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Justin Carter (193-87, college: Creighton, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Eric Buckner contributed with 16 points for the winners. Usak's coach Ozan Bulkaz allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Michael Porrini (187-89, college: Kent St.) answered with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for Gelisim. Usak maintains first place with 18-7 record, which they share with Yesilgiresun. Gelisim lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 13 games lost. Usak will play against Istanbul B.B. (#12) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Gelisim will play against Istanbulspor and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game in Manisa was also quite interesting. Second ranked Yesilgiresun (18-7) played at the court of 7th ranked Vestel (14-11). Yesilgiresun managed to secure a 8-point victory 93-85 on Wednesday. The game was dominated by American players. Alex Gordon stepped up and scored 29 points and 7 assists for the winners. At the losing side Antabia Waller responded with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Vestel's coach let to play eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Yesilgiresun keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Usak. Loser Vestel dropped to the ninth place with 11 games lost. Yesilgiresun will meet at home Final Genclik (#13) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Vestel will play against Akhisar Bld (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
A very interesting game took place in Bursa. It ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 15th ranked Pertevniyal (9-16) to thirteenth ranked Final Genclik (11-14) 76-75 on Wednesday evening. Marshall Moses nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side. Final Genclik's coach Ali Ozbay used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Final Genclik moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Istanbul B.B. Pertevniyal at the other side keeps the fifteenth position with 16 games lost. Final Genclik's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Yesilgiresun in Giresun and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Pertevniyal's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Istanbul Darussafaka.
Important game to mention about took place in Istanbul. Twelfth ranked Istanbul B.B. (11-14) saved a 2-point victory at home edging higher ranked Akhisar Bld (15-10) 82-80 on Wednesday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Akhisar Bld. Ahmet Tuncer fired 23 points and 7 assists for the winners. Istanbul B.B.'s coach Hakan Yavuz used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Istanbul B.B. maintains twelfth place with 11-14 record, which they share with Final Genclik. Loser Akhisar Bld keeps the sixth position with ten games lost. Istanbul B.B. will face league's leader Usak on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.

Other games of round 25 were very predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
bottom-ranked Izmir BSB was crushed by Darussafaka in Istanbul 81-55. Selcuk Univ. smashed Istanbulspor at home 76-46. Pi Koleji lost to Balikesir on the opponent's court 61-64. Baskent Genclik was outscored by Trabzonspor in a home game 59-81.


Vestel - Yesilgiresun 85-93

At the losing side guard Antabia Waller (188-88, college: Auburn) responded with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Justin Knox (205-89, college: N.Carolina) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Vestel's coach let to play eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Yesilgiresun keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Usak. Loser Vestel dropped to the ninth place with 11 games lost. Yesilgiresun will meet at home Final Genclik (#13) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Vestel will play against Akhisar Bld (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There was no surprise in Istanbul where 18th ranked Izmir BSB (2-23) was crushed by eighth ranked Darussafaka (15-10) 81-55 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Darussafaka. Izmir BSB was better in third quarter 23-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American guard Marcus Hall (185-85, college: Colorado) fired 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Power forward Adem Oren (207-79) chipped in 7 points and 11 rebounds. Tamer Gurpinar (-92) produced 17 points and forward Omur Gokcepinar (196-80) added 12 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Darussafaka moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Balikesir and Akhisar Bld. Newly promoted Izmir BSB stay dead last with 23 lost games. Darussafaka will face Pertevniyal (#16) in Istanbul in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Izmir BSB will play at home against Baskent Genclik in Ankara.

Selcuk Universitesi dominated on the defensive end, holding Istanbulspor to just 7 points in third quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Istanbulspor's 20. They outrebounded Istanbulspor 42-23 including a 33-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Very expected game when 16th ranked Pi Koleji (9-16) was edged on the road by ninth ranked Balikesir (15-10) 64-61 on Wednesday. However just three-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 23-14. But Pi Koleji won second period 17-10. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Baskent Genclik - Trabzonspor 59-81

Very predictable result in Ankara where fifth ranked Trabzonspor (16-9) outscored 14th ranked Baskent Genclik (10-15) 81-59 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Trabzonspor. Baskent Genclik was better in third quarter 19-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Trabzonspor shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. Croatian center Jurica Zuza (207-78, agency: Alti Sport) fired 15 points and 5 assists for the winners. American point guard Khalid El-Amin (178-79, college: Connecticut) chipped in 15 points. Four Trabzonspor players scored in double figures. Trabzonspor's coach Hasan Ozmeric felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward KZell Wesson (201-77, college: La Salle) produced 18 points and 6 rebounds and guard Admir Aziz Kan (185-83) added 11 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Trabzonspor have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain fifth place with 16-9 record. Baskent Genclik lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth position with 15 games lost. Trabzonspor will face Bandirma Kir. (#10) in Balikesir in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Baskent Genclik will play on the road against Izmir BSB (#18).

Important game to mention about took place in Istanbul. Twelfth ranked Istanbul B.B. (11-14) saved a 2-point victory at home edging higher ranked Akhisar Bld (15-10) 82-80 on Wednesday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Akhisar Bld. The hosts trailed by 8 points after three quarters before their 25-15 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Istanbul B.B. made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Strangely Akhisar Bld outrebounded Istanbul B.B. 43-22 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Guard Ahmet Tuncer (193-93, agency: 1x1 Sports) fired 23 points and 7 assists for the winners. American-Jordanian guard Rasheim Wright (192-81, college: District of Col., agency: EM-PA) chipped in 18 points. Four Istanbul B.B. players scored in double figures. Istanbul B.B.'s coach Hakan Yavuz used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American forward Darrius Morrow (203-90, college: E.Carolina, agency: Three Eye Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and forward Mert Eken (193-87) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. A very interesting game took place in Bursa. It ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 15th ranked Pertevniyal (9-16) to thirteenth ranked Final Genclik (11-14) 76-75 on Wednesday evening. Pertevniyal was ahead by 8 points after three quarters before a 26-17 charge of Final Genclik, which allowed them to win the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Pertevniyal helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward Marshall Moses (198-89, college: Oklahoma St.) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and point guard Erdem Ilter (-90) accounted for 13 points. Final Genclik's coach Ali Ozbay used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American forward Anthony Brown (203-86, college: Oklahoma St., agency: KMG Sports Management) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and naturalized FYR Macedonian Cedi Osman (195-95) added 22 points respectively for Pertevniyal in the defeat. Final Genclik moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Istanbul B.B. Pertevniyal at the other side keeps the fifteenth position with 16 games lost. Final Genclik's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Yesilgiresun in Giresun and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Pertevniyal's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Istanbul Darussafaka.

Leader Usak delivered the eighteenth victory. This time they beat 11th ranked Gelisim (12-13) 68-61 in Izmir. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Gelisim was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Justin Carter (193-87, college: Creighton, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import forward Eric Buckner (208-90, college: Georgia St., agency: David Lee services) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Usak's coach Ozan Bulkaz allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Michael Porrini (187-89, college: Kent St.) answered with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and power forward Melih Kapucu (204-90) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Gelisim. Four Gelisim players scored in double figures. Usak maintains first place with 18-7 record, which they share with Yesilgiresun. Gelisim lost fourth consecutive game.
