There was no lack of excitement in the last round games. The round ended with favorites losing the games and even winless team recording their first victory.

TED Kolejliler has finally registered their first victory this season after 17 consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Usak Sportlif (5-13) 90-84 on Saturday. TED Kolejliler made 29-of-35 free shots (82.9 percent) during the game. TED Kolejliler outrebounded Usak Sportlif 44-31 including 16 on the offensive glass. 27 personal fouls committed by Usak Sportlif helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American guard Shannon Shorter (193-89, college: N.Texas) scored 23 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists (went 12 for 12 at the free throw line !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Ian Hummer (201-90, college: Princeton) chipped in 19 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American D'Angelo Harrison (193, college: St.John's, agency: Three Eye Sports) with 32 points and 8 assists. TED Kolejliler maintains sixteenth position with 1-17 record. It was Usak Sportlif's third loss in a row. They keep the fourteenth place with 13 games lost. TED Kolejliler are looking forward to face higher ranked Istanbul BBSK (#13) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Usak Sportlif will play against the league's second-placed Anadolu Efes where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
BSL top team - Fenerbahce (16-2) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat ninth ranked Yesilgiresun Bld (8-10) in Istanbul 76-65. Czech power forward Jan Vesely (213-90) notched 16 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and James Nunnally supported him with 13 points and 6 assists. Fenerbahce's coach Zeljko Obradovic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 20 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) by American Anthony Gill (203-92, college: Virginia) did not help to save the game for Yesilgiresun Bld. Fenerbahce have an impressive nine-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 16-2 record, which they share with Anadolu Efes. Yesilgiresun Bld at the other side dropped to the eighth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Tofas and Gaziantep. Fenerbahce will play against Pinar Karsiyaka (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Yesilgiresun Bld will play against Besiktas and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game in Gaziantep was also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Darussafaka (12-6) played at the court of 8th ranked Gaziantep (8-10). Darussafaka managed to secure a 4-point victory 89-85 on Monday. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Gaziantep. The best player for the winners was Brad Wanamaker who had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Darussafaka's coach David Blatt used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was Davon Jefferson who recorded a double-double by scoring 23 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Darussafaka maintains fifth position with 12-6 record. Loser Gaziantep keeps the eighth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Tofas and Yesilgiresun. Darussafaka will meet at home Trabzonspor (#11) in the next round where they are favorite. Gaziantep will play against Galatasaray in Istanbul and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An interesting game took place in Trabzon where higher ranked Pinar Karsiyaka (10-8) was upset on the court of twelfth ranked Trabzonspor (7-11) 78-74. It was a good game for Dwight Hardy who led his team to a victory with 22 points and 5 rebounds. Trabzonspor moved-up to eleventh place. Pinar Karsiyaka at the other side keeps the seventh position with eight games lost. Trabzonspor's next round opponent will be higher ranked Darussafaka (#5) in Istanbul and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
Second ranked Anadolu Efes (16-2) crushed at home 15th ranked Balikesir (3-15) by 28 points 95-67, which is the biggest margin this round on Sunday night. DeShaun Thomas scored 22 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners. Anadolu Efes' coach Velimir Perasovic felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Anadolu Efes have an impressive five-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Fenerbahce. Newly promoted Balikesir keeps the fifteenth place with 15 games lost. Anadolu Efes will face Usak Sportlif (#14) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Balikesir will play against Tofas and hope to win that game.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 18: Galatasaray lost to Banvit BK on the opponent's court 64-79. Tofas managed to outperform Demir IBB in a home game 73-69. Istanbul BBSK recorded a loss to Besiktas on the road 86-73.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 20 points and 11 rebounds by DaJuan Summers of Pinar Karsiyaka.

Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Darussafaka maintains fifth position with 12-6 record. Loser Gaziantep keeps the eighth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Tofas and Yesilgiresun. Darussafaka will meet at home Trabzonspor (#11) in the next round where they are favorite.
