There was no lack of excitement in the last round games. The round ended with favorites losing the games and even winless team recording their first victory.

TED Kolejliler made 29-of-35 free shots (82.9 percent) during the game. TED Kolejliler outrebounded Usak Sportlif 44-31 including 16 on the offensive glass. 27 personal fouls committed by Usak Sportlif helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American guard Shannon Shorter (193-89, college: N.Texas) scored 23 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists (went 12 for 12 at the free throw line !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Ian Hummer (201-90, college: Princeton) chipped in 19 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American D'Angelo Harrison (193, college: St.John's, agency: Three Eye Sports) with 32 points and 8 assists. TED Kolejliler maintains sixteenth position with 1-17 record. It was Usak Sportlif's third loss in a row. They keep the fourteenth place with 13 games lost. TED Kolejliler are looking forward to face higher ranked Istanbul BBSK (#13) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Usak Sportlif will play against the league's second-placed Anadolu Efes where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
BSL top team - Fenerbahce (16-2) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat ninth ranked Yesilgiresun Bld (8-10) in Istanbul 76-65. Czech power forward Jan Vesely (213-90) notched 16 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and James Nunnally supported him with 13 points and 6 assists. Fenerbahce's coach Zeljko Obradovic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 20 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) by American Anthony Gill (203-92, college: Virginia) did not help to save the game for Yesilgiresun Bld. Fenerbahce have an impressive nine-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 16-2 record, which they share with Anadolu Efes. Yesilgiresun Bld at the other side dropped to the eighth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Tofas and Gaziantep. An interesting game took place in Trabzon where higher ranked Pinar Karsiyaka (10-8) was upset on the court of twelfth ranked Trabzonspor (7-11) 78-74. It was a good game for Dwight Hardy who led his team to a victory with 22 points and 5 rebounds. Trabzonspor moved-up to eleventh place. Pinar Karsiyaka at the other side keeps the seventh position with eight games lost. Trabzonspor's next round opponent will be higher ranked Darussafaka (#5) in Istanbul and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
