TED Kolejliler are looking forward to face higher ranked Istanbul BBSK (#13) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Usak Sportlif will play against the league's second-placed Anadolu Efes where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
BSL top team - Fenerbahce (16-2) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat ninth ranked Yesilgiresun Bld (8-10) in Istanbul 76-65. Czech power forward Jan Vesely (213-90) notched 16 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and James Nunnally supported him with 13 points and 6 assists. Fenerbahce's coach Zeljko Obradovic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 20 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) by American Anthony Gill (203-92, college: Virginia) did not help to save the game for Yesilgiresun Bld. Fenerbahce have an impressive nine-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 16-2 record, which they share with Anadolu Efes.
